Looks like Disc Golf Station.com ( http://www.discgolfstation.com/ ) will be handeling the online sign ups for this event. I will update when everything gets live! Thank DGS! You guys are rockin' it this year.

Event is posted on the PDGA tournament page! (Thanks JC)

We are looking for any and all sponsors for this event. Water, Gatorade, portable tents for shade.... whatever will help the players in the heat really! Please reach out and talk to anybody you think might be able to help.

Also... we need a "Bar-B-Q Chef"... someone to provide and manage a grill for the food we will have. (One-Shot?). Let a killa know!

Events....Long Distance Comp? Off-Hand Distance Comp? Perfect Putt 360 Comp? Raffel? Ring-O-Fire?

EZ's Brick Oven & Grill in The Quarry will be sponsoring the food for this year event! Very cool! Bugers and fixin's will be available for all who play (ticket in players pack) and a $5 donation for anyone else who wants to eat!

Should be a great time... come on out and fight the wind with SADC and the crew!

FYI I talked to One Shot yesterday and he's down for being the head chef again (he said you talked to him too). He also said headwuarters needs to be down in the parking lot and not up on the field as its too windy up there and it gives people better access to their cars. I tend to agree.

I hear you Dave...I also love that name for the tournament and would love to see us go back to that. The tourney stamp would be a TACO with lettuce, baskets, and discs as the toppings.

Maybe if we had some meetings and decided on things as a club "S.A.D.C." we would have an answer to that! Hmmm, Sounds simple to me!

The Alamo City Open tourney is no longer. This is The San Antonio Open which is a longer running event (started as cooperation between 3rd Coast and SADC, then SADC took over). The San Antonio Open was first held at McClain and then moved to Pearsall. The final event of the series is called the Alamo City Championships (which you've rebraded as the Fly Ink Open with your sponsorship). Having one tourney titled The Alamo City Open and another titled the The Alamo City Championships seems confusing.

This is san antonio so I think you can get away with putting a taco on the stamp anyway.

San Antonio Open is lame. The Alamo City Open (TACO) is cool. It's not confusing...it's just a tourney name and not even close date wise. Let's go back to the name we (SADC) started.

The San Antonio Open is set in stone already for this year. Let's talk, at the next meeting, about name changes for next year. I am open to any and all suggestions on how to make this event fun and exciting.

How about a cap with the club or tournament logo:

My HOTT caps are reaching the end of the road.
