Default TWC fundraiser presented by JD

We are challenging all the Texas clubs to host a mini or a two round event to raise money for the Texas

Women’s Championships.

Saturday Feb.13th is an open date across the state and would be a perfect opportunity for a non sanctioned

fund raiser. Round Rock will be holding a two round mini at Wilco that Saturday. There will be a payout, but

the majority of the entry fee will benefit TWC. We encourage everyone to organize a format in your area to do

the same. We can help in anyway to help your area make this happen, so do not hesitate to give Ed or me a

call. TWC will be April 10th and 11th and we want to see the different areas of Texas pull together for the

ladies.

So be thinking about how your area can compete in the lady lounge, contest, held during the event with the

winning area receiving a free lady enter for TWC 2011.

We have limited inventory of TWC 2009 merchandise we could possible use for your area to utilize for fund

raising, so again do not hesitate to give us a call. Join us in showing the world how Texas treats the ladies.

We go to Rivery if Wilco is closed. I'll be digging out some plastic for this event for ctp's. Should have a few jewels to pitch in. This is a 2 round mini for all divisons men and women. Please support this event.

Its looking a little more like Rivery. We need a Waretherman forecast for Wed. and Thurs. Also Saturday! Just saw on the weather there could be a little wintery mix for Wednesday night into Thursday!

I'd guess that since this is a fund raiser, if we can't make it, donations would be accepted? like the $10 that goes to those funds out of the entry fee of those that ARE playing? I'll commit $10 if i wind up not being able to play. I challenge anyone who can't make it, to make a donation if possible. Thanks!

Its gonna play a little slower than normal. The hole(I think 10?) where you turn around by the bridge and play back to the east, is cut off by water running over the sidewalk. Have to park all you stuff and go through the other holes fairway to get to it. And also the hole that you play along the creek, the water is up to the t-box. Playable but there will be some lost discs in the water if you hyser left a little. Course played real good and not very muddy. Should be a good couple of rounds tomorrow. How big can we get the grandmaster's division? That'll be a slow card!!!

They can control the flow- or so I think...It was up really high like that a couple of weeks ago, but by the second round it had receded quite a bit...

have fun!

29 players raised right @ $500, myself, Vinnie and ladies attending TWC CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH. Scores from the 2nd round somehow didn't get saved. I'll track down JD and get them posted hopefully today.

E-mac won Open
Carrol won Masters?
Josh(not nix) won Adv
Rodney won Adv. Mst
Zach(move up)Bick won Int
Brandi won girls
Kevin won the Revolution bag for the raffle.
Thanks to E-mac who stepped up big with the Discraft and Dynamic Discs Merch which made it possible with other stuff donated to have a ctp for every card both rounds. Lala thanks for helping me and JD out running this event.
Thanks again guys

Finding JD must be harder than finding Waldo. J/K post scores when you can and THANK YOU! Had a blast. Wish I could get out and play more with all.
