Default Food Drive Frenzy

Hello all, as you may have heard by now, LODGA is working with our local fire dept to help raise donations for their food drive. Although canned goods are always welcome and do fill the hole, this year we would like to try to donate items that we all take for granted such as TOILETRIES. i.e...toothbrush, toothpaste, Q-tips, socks, TP, tissues etc... things that you know someone would not go buy with their last $5, ya know. Mini will be held Saturday, Dec 5, sign up by 10am. Entry fee is $5 or items of equal value. Payout will be prizes to the top 3 scores, but there will be CTP holes, hidden eggs, raffle(all raffle money goes to the charity as well) and other fun ways to win something. More details to come. THANK YOU to SADC and Jerry Lively for moving their regurally scheduled events to accomidate this worthy event. Thanks again to SADC for donating some prizes as well. Between our two clubs we have we have prizes to give away, if you have a prize to donate please bring it along. Please spread the word, I have faith that y'all will take this to heart. I know y'all give all year long, the folks we're donating to really need it. THANK YOU.

Awesome, nice to hear all the buzz around about the frenzy. I know it's gonna be very cold on Saturday, but I hope it doesn't cool y'alls hearts. The sun should be out and we are not gonna tee off until 10:30am so it sould warm up a little. 2 more CTP's have been added, that makes 5!
Lunch will be hot, beer will not. Thank you!

The cold should not be an excuse to not come out. 55 degrees is PERFECT disc golfing weather!

No worries Chris, we know the weather was questionable. Use the donations y'all raised for someone in your community.

Default Holiday Food Basket Program

Dear Jim Bob,
Thank you for your recent donation for the Holiday Food Basket Program. Your donation on behalf of the Live Oak Disc Golf Alliance was greatly appreciated. With the help of many Live Oak citizens, we were able to provide food for 35 families in need during the holidays. We estimate that each food basket contained approximately 45 to 50 dollars of food. The Live Oak Disc Golf Alliance’s dedication to the citizens of Live Oak is exceptional. Thank you once again.

Sincerely,

Steven M Santana
Lieutenant
Live Oak Fire Dept.
