Dretzka and Brown Deer League

Dretzka will go in Monday May 11th. League will start on Tuesday the 12th @ 6:00. Brown Deer is in now. It is VERY WET!!!. Brown Deer league will start Thursday the 14th @ 6:00. There are tons of sticks , branches, and trees that need to be picked up at both courses. I'm trying to get the county to wood chip the needed areas but it is to wet for equipment right now. If you haven't signed up for the club this year yet, you can sign up @ Tim's morning league or @ either league that I run. It's $15.00 to join or renew. Don't forget to help clean up debris at any course you play. See Ya ,Shark

Brown Deer is wetter and sloppier than I have ever seen it. There is standing water in so many places that it has never been before! Please, IF you play there, try not to tear the h--- of of it! Let the place dry out so we all can enjoy it when the time is right.

Summer leagues have started at Spassland Park on Thursdays, Valley View Park on Wednesdays, Villa Park on Wednesdays, Dretzka Park on Tuesdays and Brown Deer Park on Thursdays. Pick a park, pick a day or two and come out to join your friends in league play this summer. See gldgc.com for more Info.

Reviving this thread as my first official post as a member of the PDGA.

That said..... Am I safe in assuming for leagues this year that:

Tues.: Dretzka

Thurs.: Brown Deer

Interested in playing either Tues. at Dretzka, or Wed. up in Saukville at Mark's thing BTW. All depends on what day the wife's swim class falls on this year.

What I don't know however, is tentative start date and duration. Is there a Summer league that simply follows the Spring league? And if so, how many weeks is it?

Sometime in May. It depends on April showers. When ever the grass gets nice and green is the point that it can hold up to heavy traffic. It the baskets goin to soon and the grass turns to mud, it will be mud forever. I might runa Tuesday league in April @ Deneen until Dretzka opens. The grass there seems very healthy from all of the poop fertilizer. I will post it here as soon as I know.
