There are no bounties on any holes - there's no back up ace pots fo rthem to be paid from.

You should have all the money from when Ben aced until now (I think) - you're welcome to pay him. Nice shot LBA.

You asked about the bounty, so I answered you.

John asked about the ace pot so I answered him. GTFOYS.

Vincent

I think John EEEEEE addressed your statements as best as can be done. Its real hard to please everyone every wednesday night. Part of the problem was with construction on the course which took us over to the winter sooner than in other years past. This club started wednesday's playing doubles for NO money. Then over the years money has become the thing everyone wanted to do. When money is involved with people, alot of the time it causes problems like, can't win enough in doubles or can't play due to the 5.00 dollar entry. Seems every wednesday for me at least and a maybe alot of the others that its a fun night, I don't come out to WIN money and If I do, its a bonus for the fun night out. Others get PO'ed if they don't or complain about the format or had a bad day at work or a fight with there spouse, whatever..........Wednesday's were formed as a fun night out with fellow members. If some people can't handle that or don't like it, then they can run for office in the club and make changes as they see fit. Otherwise, shut your pie hole, come out and play with the rest of the CLUB members and have fun or go where ever the heck you want to go and play. Its things like this that has me so PO'ed about the club and the reason I am retiring from the board at the end of this term. Then I will be able to sit back and watch what happens with the club going forward. I know that we have plenty of great people in the club and they will become the new leaders of the club and I know that going forward all the petty BS will go away.............So for all you money or nothing guys and only will play if its singles or don't show up cause you guys don't keep the same format each week or change it week to week, get off your butts and do something about it, otherwise shut the hell up and go play with someone else's club, cause all your doing is dragging a negative into a positive for most of us..........If I hurt some peoples pride, to darn bad, I'm 54 years old and life is short and I don't have time to pamper people kiss their butts or whatever the little babies need. If you don't like it, change it, otherwise again, shut your pie hole.
Now, thats more than I have said in a long time, and have no problem having this conversation with anyone any wednesday night face to face.....I am easy to find on wednesday, so come and get some..

JohnE make sure all member are able to vote .....not just the ones that show up on Wednesday or on this forum....and thanks for addressing the issue in a manner that is expected from the leaders of a club

Ware you should be the next treasure...you seem to keep good books....hell get on the board any postion.........your always envolved with club/cabinet business anyways

May....its not about money...... FOR ME I don't need to play for money during the week...I make plenty golf money on the weekends
Its about knowing what can be expected. This is not at all about me....you all can make it all about me if you all need to justify yourselfs. But there is a big picture here.....like the same four or five people do all the work for the club, or where have all our members gone, or what direction is the club headed..............check the bylaws.............
By the way CAT HOLLOW has a single mini EVERY Saturday.....no vote needed

And you say they are my old torunaments....what makes them my tournaments? And I dumped on the club? whatever!!
Round Rock bennifitted from the events....hell the club has made money on one of the events.Maybe Round Rock doesn't need to show off it courses, maybe we don't need new courses, maybe we don't need new members............ and as far as Cat Hollow.......don't much care for playing that course....but it is nice to know exactly what to expect when you sign up......
Stay tune folks.....lets hear who has to have the last word

Did I just hear someone say they want to be treasurer? Oh no, that was the crickets.

Please remember that elections for cabinet members are happening in 2 weeks. I've only recieved 3 nominations & we have 2 open seats for sure. I'f you're willing to do the work & take the heat, please let one of the current cabinet members know (me, Edman, JohnEEE, PDub, or May). If you wanna sit back & whine about what others are (or are not) doing... ...I think you know what I have to say about that.

President & sgt @ Arms are open. Vinnie, Manny, & Able have been nominated. I think Vinnie may be a little busy next year to serve on the board, but the other 2 have accepted their nominations.

Really McCaine? Im not a ranger fan, but you gotta at least root for your home state, especially when the farm team is in your back yard
