We had a better turnout then I expected. And for all those that didnt make it out due to the fear of the rain, I am sorry to inform you but it stayed dry the entire round. We did have some decent wind and actually kind of felt like the old greenwood from when we first put this course in.

The biggest news of the night is we had Mr. Chris Shelton playing with us and not only did this man hit 2 ACES he hit them within a THREE HOLE SPAN. The first time I have ever seen this happen. And the best part was that the ace pot is still intact at around $117.
I hope this round has enticed him to start playing more golf but only time will tell. I'm just glad I didnt agree to play 51 with the guy.

We will see everyone next week for another great round of golf in the best new course in Arkansas.

Tonight !!!!! Disc Golf in Bulldog Country !!!!!

it's getting darker earlier so were trying to get everybody done before dark !!!!

flex tee times start at 5:00pm thur 5:30pm hopefully the last group will tee know later than that !!!!

the first time we've used flex tee times was last night and it seemed to work great, because everyone finished before dark !!!!!

The only problem I saw was that 5:00-5:30pm maybe too early, for people to make it out to Greenwood in time !!!! (Input needed)

Although we had a decent turnout considering the dark cloud that came through before the mini !!!!

my input would be to move to Sunday afternoon or start having to light up discs (as in mandatory) but we'd have to get special permission from the parks dept. considering that the park closes closely after dark

1st Monday of the month is This Monday, Oct. 5th, WAFDA meeting @ 7 at the Library.......we'll need to figure that out

Ok, Tonight is going to be the last mini of the season on Thursday nights !!!!

This mini is moving to Sunday afternoons at 2:00pm !!!
hopefully that will give more opportunities to enjoy this course by more golfers !!!!

I'm offering flex times for golfers starting at 5:00pm thur 5:30pm. This should give us time to finish before dark !!!

Although the mini had one of its smallest turnouts to date it had one of the most significant developments yet !!!!

Over half the field was the age of thirteen and the other was over the age of forty !!!!

The future of the sport seems to be on the right track, when elders can help youngsters develop their skills and encourage a positive attitude !!!!

Just wanted to remind everyone that the mini on Thursday's is going to be on Sunday afternoons starting this week !!!!

Thursday's will be missed, but we're trying to start a new tradition of Sunday afternoon golf at least thur the winter !!!! should be fun !!!!

ps. I hope thats not too early for the late risers !!!

Im glad to hear that the mini is going to continue.

Just in case anyone is free tonight I will be heading out to get some practice in around 530. I will also be scouting possible hole changes as well so look forward to that.

And remember that Battle at bell park is less than a month away. this should be an awesome tourney and a lot of fun that you dont want to miss out on.

What Happened !!!!!!

rushed out to Greenwood from Chester for one golfer !!!!

Apparently, we need to get the word out that the mini has been moved to Sunday afternoons at 2:00pm !!!!!

ps. Phil I brought your big weedeater to the mini and you weren't there !!!!

But, overall Kevin and myself got in a round anyway, basically running at every hole for the ace pot !!!!!

Rain or Shine I have decided that I am going to head out and play Greenwood tonight, So Roger and Tony if you read this I will still be out there around 520 or so.
Jay Reading said he would practice in the rain so that he would have a nose up on everyone else who stayed inside during those rainy days. I have decided to practice this theory and see where it takes me, I assume it will be something to do with a cold

but we will see.
And I really want to throw this new Katana and see what it does. So hopefully I will see you out there Roger and Tony.
