cool. Ware2, me, keith, and russell are camping there....given several more teams.....sounds like we'll have a good time. Hope we can get a good campsite. All depends on when we get there. Fairly sure us above will be getting there around noon Friday. When we camped there 2 years ago we were over by the showers (rather than the usual place where we camp for TX Teams).

This tournament had gotten ridiculously expensive! They are charging for EVERYTHING they can think of! Even for paying by credit card (which technically they cannot do- even though there are easy ways around it.) Psh.
$260 to play, camp, and have lunch for 2 days. Wow. |

Agreed. The free pizza and beer Sat evening better be good.
Ware2 and I are all registered as of today. Looking forward to it! This year gonna do it easy.....EzUp over the back of my Tahoe, air mattress inside, no tent to mess with, charcoal grill for evenings, gas camp stove for breakfast, big ice chest full of beer......and a "portable crapper". heh |

Just got the confirmation email for me and Gayy Dee (after bicthnig about the fees, of course.)
What the eff is a portable crapper? Not sure what all kind of gear we have, other the JD's massive house-tent and a generator... |

To follow up on that.....I just looked at the player's list and the teams that will be attending that are "close" to the Double R are:
Ware2/JohnE JD/Nix The Nicholsons Rodney/Peyton AAron/JohnD Denton/RT JAB/Harris Feel free to add to that if you want, I'm listing them here so we'll all know who to expect to see there. Hope y'all all wind up camping with us at our spot on the ranch (where we usually camp for Texas Teams....by the road). We'll have at least one grill for evening cooking Fri/Sat (22" round charcoal w/lid). I know JD/Nix plan on being there by noon Friday, Ware2 and I are shooting for that time as well. We'll see y'all there. If you are going to tomorrow's mini at OSP we can talk about it some more there. |

ha. the Hill was where Ware2 and i played our best, wind or no wind (Sunday morning, +4 regular doubles, 7 birdies). If only we could have done anything close to that level on the Meadows on Saturday. :/
fun weekend though |
