PDGA website status

Dear PDGA Members and Message Board Visitors,

As you are probably already aware, the PDGA website is currently down as we undergo a comprehensive security review in preparation for the launch of the all new PDGA.com website next week. The PDGA Message Board has now been brought back up to facilitate communication during this time. Additionally, the office staff is available to assist you with course directions, tournament information or any other information you may need in the next couple of days. We thank you for your continued patience as we go through these inconvenient but necessary steps to ensure the security and quality of the new website. The IT committee has dedicated countless volunteer hours working on this project for all of us so I would respectfully request that you all join me in extending our most sincere thanks and support to them, rather than leveling unproductive criticism which will only further slow the process.

We invite you to check back next week for the launching of the new and improved PDGA.com!

We are receiving many calls and emails regarding the website. Please know that the DISCussion Board page you are seeing is NOT the new website. The DISCussion Board is posted so that you can stay connected and get updates through this Announcement thread as they become available.

The Discussion board new user registration process is temporarily on hold until some security issues are solved.

We have everyone in a queue that has tried to register for the discussion board and will go though the requests as soon as possible.

Dear Members and Viewers,

The Tour Calendar and Member Search will be available soon. These pages will also include the lists of Certified Officials, Ace Club, Birdie Club and Eagle Club members. I am receiving several emails regarding this and want to assure you that we will have these features again. The website must pull this information from our database. The delay stems from a security review. The Course Directory will be available again as well.

Please remember that this website is a work in progress. Thank you to all volunteers working behind the scenes to get the new site running properly.

We will keep you posted. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The online Course Directory is now available!

For those wondering, the migration of text can be completed quickly which is why certain areas of the website are being pushed before others. The Tournament Admin section (posting of results) is complex and is most definitely being worked on daily. Thank you for your patience.
