Jason , Stepping up I see .
Are you the TD or is someone else ?
Either way good to see you takin steps to do what needs to be done .
I unfortunatly cannot make it due to " postal " limitations BUT once the economy picks back up I am sure I will be out there again .
Talk to you all soon .

All out there, be warned. There is a kick-@$$ female team playing in this event, and a challenge issued to provide them with some competition.
On another note, there will be the new Boss either in the players pack or for am-payout.

There have been alot of people playing Griffin in the past 2 weeks. Some I've talked to say "I love it now", while others still hate it. If it weren't for the thorny trees, the course would be even better. I've had to use pliers to pluck the broken thorns from my shoes, other than that...it's fun to play now.

Sign ups can begin at Play it Again Sports in Norman. It's off of Main street and 24th in the shopping center on the north side of Main. You can pick up your players pack too, you and your partner must be present to sign the release forms.

I know a few people who don't play as much as we do, and they don't like the course. Also some of my friends that are new to DG, this course is intimidating for them.

Personally , Given the choice I would much rather play Colonial then all the rest in norman. Colonial gives you the most challenge for the buck , Lions is just pitch and putt short and old ( sorta like sedgley woods in philly great for a short round ... and friendly fun )

Griffin I do like ALOT but can be intimidating to the begginer who cannot throw far .... BUT this course is also a STEP UP IN NORMAN and gives the player the ability to GROW

Lost plastic is the only problem at colonial but with its tight fairways and challenging distances it to me is the best in norman overall for all levels of play .

Just for the disc golf enthusiasts , PA impo has become the frontier of PAR 60-65 disc golf . THINK blackhawk with more distance .
Come play real disc golf here in PA

For those who haven't been down to Norman, the Griffin course in undergoing a bunch of changes. The city is building a small lake between the pavailion and all the soccer fields. All the dirt from the lake has been deposited on what used to be the #1/#2 fairway. Thus, there are new layouts for holes 1,2,16,17, and 18.

There was a bunch of activity out at Griffin yesterday. Steve King and the boys were working around the course. There were plenty of players out on the course getting practice in...

There are brooms at most every Teepad that usually needs one. The course is playing very well. It's easier to find errant shots now.

For those who haven't signed up yet, find a partner. Get signed up!

Hard to believe they played that much golf together as partners without "whippin" each other...
