. and then there is the QMS or Aurora MS which is straighter than a Comet and also has never colluded with the Dark side ![]() ![]() what i would love to see, after putting a QMS back in the bag -- is a Star QMS. Dave, any chance of that ever happening? |

I threw comets for years and I will tell you coyote aurora and qms are nothing like a comet. The closest thing IMO is a E-element, and even they need a little break in to be close to a comet out of the box.

Dave, is the STAR Monster the same as the champion Monster? The Disc looks a lot different than either of the 2 champion Monster molds.

I would have to agree on the star monsters...the first time I saw one it did look kinda different than the champ ones that I have....couldn't really quite place it though... could have been a slight higher dome maybe?...probably is just some weird way the star plastic molded up or something...I'm sure they probably throw the same though....

The Star Monster thing has me curious now. I might have to get one now and check it out.
Only thing is I already have 3 Champ Monsters and I only use one. Maybe someone will mail me one for free? heh |

I wouldn't say domier but seems the rim has less curve.

Yes, same as what they did to the Beast, The rim is straight across or almost convex. The only reason I noticed it is because I did throw it and it wasn't very Monster like at all.

Not really. The domier style seems a bit more understable than the originals and the grip seems different. Bummer. They do, however, handle the tomahawk fairly well.
The STAR Monster is nowhere near the Champ Monster as far as hyser. I'm really dissapointed in the flight. It's more like a beat up banshee. Straight forever than hyser a little and fall.

Star Monsters are in the "L" mold. Just like every other disc in the "L" mold, they are less stable. I dont think Id even compare it to a beat up Banshee, as those are still more beefy. I really dont see alot of difference between the Teerex and the Monster, but my Monster isnt totally beat in.
These Monsters are awesome for overhead shots though, you got that right. Throwing my farthest thumbers ever.

I have the X mold and L mold in champion, and my STAR Monster is unlike either of them. It is missing the slight lip the champion L mold has close to the inside lip making it perfectly straight across the bottem

Can anyone make a comparison of the Star Monsters to the old Pro Line Monsters? I guess they should be the same mold, but I'd like to hear from some people that have thrown them both.

Not the same mold IMO. I would (and will) stick with the prolines until they fell apart.

I won the basket last month. Got home from Alaska and it was sitting waiting for me. I received an email that Innova had shipped me something.
The only time they called me was when I won a shirt and they asked what size I wanted. I like the CFR program, it's been very nice to me. |
