I have thrown the Orion LF in the Sirius Plastic. I would say the rim is very close to the teebird "t" or Firebird Rim wide. Hope that helps. |

Hi Dave,
With all this talk about the KC Aviars, I had a question also. Whats the deal with the non-11x World Champion stamped KC Pro Avairs? Are theses new ( they feel different ) or are they from the same period when the KC Rocs no longer featured the 11x World Champ stamp?

They do feel grippier, and have a sunken dome, similar to the newest JKs.

Hey Dave,
I remember reading somewhere that the DX plastic was changed and now has a different mix of plastics than older dx discs. I was wondering, assuming that this is true, if this new blend consists has more of the Pro like plastics. I have two beadless dx aviars that I have just started using this year. My blue dx aviar was bought from Marshall Street earlier this spring and was given to me in almost new condition. When I first got the disc I didn't notice, but later on I realized that it feels almost identical to my 11x kc aviar, but is a little more tackier. Last week I bought a red dx aviar from marshall street. This one feels like my JK aviar, just a little harder. So, what is the deal with this dx plastic?

Hi Dave,
I too have a question about the 'new DX' that is hitting the shelves as of late... Do you have a list of which discs have already been released in the new DX? Also, could you list an estimated timetable of when we can expect the discs that have not been released yet to become available? Thanks in advance and I hope this request isn't a burden... sleepy

Hey dave what about making a 2006 2nd run 2001 ce roc?
Or a second run 8x roc, or a 2nd time rainbow roc? Just seems like a good time to bring back the old while embracing the new.

Hey Sleepy, the new DX Rocs are out there. I had one that was a misprint. Some of the J-Bird Big Bird Rocs on Epay are definately new DX. Don't know about others. Ask John if his feel rubbery to the touch like Coyote/Wraith/Beast/Orc.

Some of the J-bird big bird stamped rocs are also of the poppy top variety. I got a few late last year and they were poppy top. Maybe they have stamped more on the new DX.. I don't know. I hate the poppy top rocs so I always have to ask before buying. My friend has a new DX roc and it is grippier/more rubbery and very very flat. Sweet disc.

My preference is Innova, I believe they make the most consistent discs and I am quite pleased to have my bag full of their product.
