Dave,
I personally throw mostly Innova plastic, I always have. I really like all the different plastics that you have produced in the last couple years. Its amazing to see how much the plastic has changed in just the short 7 years I have been playing DG. I have one question about the star plastic...Is the star plastic a 50/50 mix of champion and pro plastics??? If so, why is the MSRP higher than champion by $1??? I am not trying to roc the boat(excuse the pun), I am just trying to understand why it would be MSRP'ed at more if the discs cost roughly half the price to make??? I understand that they are marketed to be almost as durable as champ and just as grippy as pro, so I get that there is possible "extra benifit" to the plastic as far as grip and durability are concerned to the player. But enought to offset the price to the player that much?? I dont know if you set the prices on discs so all I am asking I guess is if the star plastic is 50% champ and 50% pro plastics??

Dave, I'm sure you've had a chance to test the Star Avairs by now. Did they test well? What do they fly like? Any idea on a release date? FXs next?
One more thing. I've been reading posts about the retooled Beast, which you used for the Star line. Was there a reason why you didn't leave the original in the line and make the retool a Beast L? Not that it bothers me. The Champion beast I had was just about as overstable as my Champ Starfire, but I know some people liked it. Barry, for one. Thanks, Kent |

There are star aviars out there now, I have a couple, and a lot of people picked them up with tournament stamps at the Big Chill in Milwaukee, Wi
I have been putting with them for most of my rounds this week. They fly really nice, just like the putt and approach to me at least. |

Putter soft for sure
I would definately be interested in and would buy a bunch of Star Aviars if they were made in the "classic aviar" or Kc pro molds, and if they were really stiff

We dropped the original Beast from the line as it was too similar to the Orc. We can still make the originals for a special offering, CFR, or for Barry, if he wanted.

Dave, i read earlier that you said the STAR line is not replacing the Pro line provided the latter keep selling. I believe you said the Pro Starfire (all of which are SL) and the Pro Wraith sell very well. Is there any chance you would discontinue the Pro Beast and re-run Pro Orcs? Pro Orcs are my best disc by far and while i do have SB and Champ Orcs and like them, the Pro Orcs imo are the best driver disc ever.
Or, if a club or tournament wanted to do a special run of Pro Orcs, would that be do-able? If so how many would be the minimum? thanks for your time. |

Dave, thanks in advance. 1st of all, I throw only Innova drivers and Discraft midranges. Have you ever thrown a Discraft Z-Buzzz or Z-Wasp? This may be sacrilidge, but I cannot find an Innova disc that flies the same as a Buzzz or Wasp. Sharks feel huge when I grip them, and Champ. Rocs are too expensive, and the Pro Rocs beat in too quickly.
What is the best disc for Dead straight flight when you rip it, handles the wind well, and has a predictable slight fade at the end?

Coyote or Aurora MS fly dead straight and hold any line if you don't throw with heavy off-axis torque. SB Roc is like a Z Buzzz (straight then finishes left, only it's a lot better) and you support a great disc golf event by purchasing one.

Coyote! Pick a line...any line...thats where she will fly. However, maybe its just me but I have a 180 orange that is less stable than the 179 green and the 179 glow. Weird!

Id try to find the Opaque QMS' if thats what your looking for. I stopped using them when the Coyote came out, mainly because of the distance I could get out of the Coyote. I think they are very similar, only the Coyote gets more lift, and a little more controlled distance.
