Default Sadly understable FLX buzzz

Messy, I know :-)

I mean if I have 3 BUZZ in my hand do I have any way to find out which one
is most overstable without any throw ?

Why I wanna know ? Just because I lost my best FLX BUZZ and after that
I was buying atleast 5 BUZZ, but everyone is soooo understable ?

I have the same problem. I have a FLX Buzzz 174 that was had some serious fade to it. I've owned plenty of other ESP and Z buzzes and this one was different. Of course after a million hyzer shots with it it's now quite understable (thought it still doesn't hold right at low speed as easily as other beat buzzzes.) So I wanted to replace it. I got a 178 FLX Buzzz thinking it should be even more overstable, but no dice. The old one is disgustingly flat topped... nearly concave it's so flat. They're all flat in the middle. but this one was flat all the way to the edge. The new FLX buzzz is not like that.

How can I get the absurdly flat FLX Buzzz? How about in full weight? I love the Buzzz for it's straightness. But I wouldn't mind carrying one that fades too. I have a Roc, I have a Wasp, but they don't lift out and push left. They drop. I really like this disc and want another one.

Just got our Ace Race discs in...man do these feel great. The ESP feels pretty good, but the pro-D plastic just feel amazing!!! Can't wait till next weekend so I can give them a test fly!

Could this be the disc that takes the big bead aviar out???

how could it be different/better than the challenger? I always felt the challenger, wizard, and BB aviar were extremely similar in flight and shape of the mold. what does this disc offer that the others do not?

Well I have only felt the disc at this point....haven't thrown it. But the noticable differences between the Challenger and the Ace Race disc is the bead is much bigger on the Ace Race disc. Also the nose is a little more sleak looking. As for flight differeneces between the Challenger, BB Aviar and Wizard. The Wizard, to me, is waaay more overstable than the BB aviar and Challenger. Then the BB Aviar is more overstable than the Challenger. The main reason I use a BB Aviar is the bead feels more comfy in my hand than the other 2. Plus I really don't like the feel of ESP FLX Challengers(or the pro-d), I liked the X ones, but they are OOP now. This disc feels every bit as comfy as the BB Aviar in my hand...and hopefully will become more readily availible than Champions BB Aviars are.

that said feel can only go so far....I won't know for sure until I throw it!

Anyone know of an event where, or know if it is even allowed for, an Ace Race to be played on an Object Golf course?

I have a course that uses 55 gallon drums (metal barrels) as targets, and have played a few X-tier events here without incidence. Was thinking about doing an Ace Race out there. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on it? Know if it would be allowed?

I'd be willing to bet that it would be allowed. Sounds like fun. When is it?

Talking Flat, Stable FLX Buzzz (again)

So what's up? I asked question a few posts back about how to find these super-flat, super-stable FLX Buzzzes and no one bit. Is this because

1. They don't believe in the absurdly flat/surprisingly stable FLX Buzzz
2. They don't know where to find them
3. They assume their grandmother's can throw farther than I can and that's the only way I could possibly say the words "stable" and "Buzzz" in the same sentence
4. They know what I'm talking about and want to keep all the sweet discs to themselves
5. They got offended and scurried back to the "Ask Dave" thread because I didn't think the Roc solved my problem
6. They figure, screw this dude "The Comet is the only pure line in disc golf."
7. They think "anyone in the know would just throw a beat Pred"
8. They started a response but gave up when they couldn't decide between claiming 375' or 400' for their awesome headwind hyzer shots with the stable Buzzz.
9. .... I can go on like this.

But seriously, does ANYONE know what I'm talking about?

Tournament Stamped FLX Buzzz that have a fairly large area that is stamped are usually the flattest and most stable that I've found. I have a pink one in the bag now that keeps me from throwing the wasp unless its into a really hard wind. But even then a bit of a hyser release and it will hold it's line and still fade back at the end.

Not sure that's what your looking for but it's the best I have right now.

Oh and check with Rusco at Dynamic Discs he can hook you up with some flat ones.

It's a putter.....and you'll probably discover it's more stable than what you might expect.
