Says 2.2, and the D I have is a 2.0. So looks like it maybe more overstable.

Default esp venoms and zones

any estimates an release dates for the esp venoms and zones?

and hey Hero: is it just the pic or does that ESP Venom actually have a dome? All the D Venoms I've seen have been very flat-topped.

I don't really know, but I can't imagine being a whole lot different than a flick?

Default ESP 150 flick

picked up a white esp 150 flick last week. it flies just as fast, if not faster than the z ones, is more overstable and skips even farther. the skip is so nasty its almost too much. i am really liking it. i can seem to get it to go on monster forehand s-turns without worrying about it flipping over into the ground. fabulous disc in my opinion.

Discraft has told me their reports are 1.0 or higher with Wasp-like flights and a much better grip in the smaller D.

I think 1.0 stability or maybey more so 1.5. It will fly kinda like a faster wasp.

So sounds kinda like a zone mayby. Maybe a bit faster and a bit less stable

More stable than a 1.0 rating, similar to stability of a wasp (rated 1.5). Better grip because the wasp has a large bead and is bigger diameter. I have not heard about the glide of this disc though.

Like a heavy Cro.

Mine just came. This is the best feeling ESP I've ever felt. Slightly soft/gummy but still on the stiffer side and is SUPER tacky. They are a nice subtle dome to them too. I'm playing on my lunch break so I'll oss them then. Its also windy today

Looking for some input. I'm looking for some first hand knowledge about the Meteor. Not a product description, but from people who have thrown it. Right now I throw beat glo buzzz's for mid-range turnovers but we know how that goes, change of flight characteristics over time. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance!

The Meteor is exactly what you are looking for. Heavy/flat ones fly exactly like a beat Buzz, although I think that they glide a little better/farther. I really can't feel the difference in the hand much b/w the Buzz and Meteor.

It is a great disc for turnovers, tunnel shots, and even short rollers. I have used it to get out of trouble as well as when I'm in the middle of the fairway. Great utility disc that lasts a long time (still have my ace race ones). I have noticed that the ace race ones are flatter and a little more stable.

Was on my way to play a realized a I still had a gift card to Play It Again Sports. Picked up an ESP Meteor (175). First time I threw it turned over nice and smooth just like I wanted. Even threw for some nice hyzer-flip up shots. I still want to throw it some more but this disc seems to be what I was wanting. Thanks to you and Brad for your comments.

Ever thrown a nice beat Aviar Putt & Approach? I throw my Meteor on the same lines, with the same results. Only about 50-75 feet more distance (or just as little, depending on how hard you throw it). It's great for touch shots of about 240-280 feet, that's about the range I tend to use it for. Just let it flip up and fly dead straight until it hits the ground. It has enough glide that if you pump it out there with enough height and hyzer it can be thrown 400 feet on an open field shot too, but I wouldn't recommend using it for those shots It has a nice slow turn as well, but I don't use it for much of those shots because I throw forehand.

I just can't get the Meteor to work consistently. I think You can do pretty much just as much with a buzz or XL but I am still working with it.

It flies completely consistent for me. But then again almost all of my midrange shots are thrown with a fan grip and nose up, which keeps discs more stable. Buzzzes are very stable for me and rarely turn, and Zone's are super-overstable to unflippable.

Buzzz SS.

The ESP Zone is a great stable/overstable mid. Ive been throwing my Worlds one and think its money. To me, they seem a little less overstble than a newer D. Of course, the D is broke in within a few rounds, if not flippy.

I asked that question many times with a less than enthusiastic response. Then, as the post above asks you, I tried a Meteor. Actually, I tried several. I found a flat heavy one that is money. This disc is undoubtably better than the Buzz SS...it stays in the air better and is more predictable/wind resistant. The Meteor has even taken a little work away from my Z Buzz as it is better for perfectly straight lines with no fade.

Guess I'll have to try out a meteor.......based on the description "an understable comet" I thought it would be too touchy/flippy. I have an esp comet that is just too easy to flip.
