I average throwing around 400 to 415 as my max D. So whats better the z flash or the esp flash and also what colors and weights are best because i have heard that makes a little bit of difference in flight patterns? Because I used to have a first run Orange Z flash but I wasnt a big fan of it but my distance has improved since i had that in my bag So I def want to try it again but i dont want to have to buy 4 of them to find the right one that gets the best distance.

Get another Orange because they are the most stable but I have a Red one I threw in practice that flew even farther but was a little flippy.

So the orange Z is the most stable? Is a first run more stable or the current runs?

I think Scooter is saying the orange ESP's are the most overstable. Actually, i know that's what he's saying b/c he hasn't tested the Z version. I like the RED Esp ones myself.

The Pink ones I threw are pretty stable . I was getting them out past 400 pretty easy...just couldn't get use to throwing them in the woods

Definitely agree with Hero. The orange ones are quite overstable. I prefer the red myself. When new they are still overstable but beat into a nice stable flyer that will turn over at high speeds.

So with the poppy dome are you losing some of the distance due to the drag that is caused or not?

Baby Blues.
White were great for awhile, the pea greens were overstable like the orange, the bright greens and baby blues seem to be similar. Dead straight with a hyser finish. Throwing them farther than I did the Destroyer. Orange 1st runs I have are sick overstable.

Well if there is anyone that is willing to do away with one that is pretty stable (not crazy overstable) but something i can really rip and it will not turn straight over. I would gladly take it off of there hands for a trade or a good price just PM and let me know.

I don't think it is just the 1st runs because I think all of mine a more recent runs. From what I have seen orange is more stable in both the Flash and Force.
Anyone know how the Blue Forces fly?

The lighter baby blues fly the best of all Ive tried. Most consistent in flight vs. conditions as well. I have a bunch of orange Z first run Flashes.

If no, can one of you guys with some Discraft pull make it happen? |

there is no 150 Predator, but you can get them in the low 160s. Plus there are 150 Avengers and Flicks in ESP and 150 Talons and Flicks in Z. It would be nice if Discraft would expand their 150 lineup a little, but I think they have a decent selection right now. Not all discs need to be made in 150 IMO, which makes me scratch my head as to why they released the Impact in the 150 class and not other more worthy and popular canidates (undoubtably someone is going to chime in and profess their love for the 150 ESP Impact
)

My mom plays tournament golf and loves the 150 Impact. It has helped out her game a ton so far. I tried one and it might have went further if I drop kicked it but that is just a difference in throwing styles, power, and personal preference. YAY 150 Impact

So I went out and threw my 2 Z Forces today, one is 170 and the other is 171, which is the same weight I throw in the ESPs. First off, like others have mentioned, the plastic is a little gummier than normal Z plastic, which I wish it was more like standard production Z plastic. This is sparkle Z though, and if you've ever thrown a Sparkle Rogue or any other sparkle disc, you know that they tend to run a little gummier.
People have been saying that they're way less stable than the ESP, and I have to disagree. They fly like a force, not a like a faster surge like some have suggested on this and other boards. I don't have the biggest arm, throwing about 350 consistantly, and for me the Force flies about equal distance for me as the Surge, just on different lines. I know I don't have any business keeping them in my bag, and I don't really use the Force that much, but I couldn't pass it up. They a still just as overstable as my new ESPs are, maybe just slightly easier to get flying flat. Since I have somewhat of a weenie arm, I approached my friend Danny on the course, who has the biggest arm in town, usually crushing between 450ft and 500 for max D. He throw them side by side with some ESPs and said if they are any less stable than the ESPs, it's not by much. He thought that the hair less stability he felt in the Zs were due to them not being max weight like his ESPs. can't wait to break mine in. |

![]() I use it for D contests when there is a decent tail wind. That thing is so fast its sickening... I goes forever, I just never really know where its going to end up accuracy wise so it has never made it in my bad. It is really fun to throw though. |
