I like the Z XL, but it's a hair flippier than the X Tracker. Maybe I should be more minimalist and drop the X Tracker, but X Tracker is a little more reliable when I just want to throw a straight fairway drive or don't wanna worry about it flipping too much.

Matt, what plastic are you throwing those Trackers on that big anny lines? I've been getting some good annys out of my Xs, but when I first got my Zs and ESP Trackers and realized how stable they were, I just used them for hyzers. some of my ESP Trackers are just stupid overstable. (which is probably good for you, my weenie arm isn't quite suited for them yet.)

And otherwise I just thought it was weird that they bumped up the stablity in the trackers and lowered them in the ESP XLs (i know the XL is all over the place in each individual plastic). It just seems like there is a gap in the ESP line that isn't present in the other plastic lines.

The one I was throwing far was a white ESP but at the time I only use the Z.

It was overstable I was just putting a good amount of turn on it. They are very similar to an FL.

Stable Wasps? Is there any kind of particular run, plastic, shape, or color I need to look for in order to have stability. All I can find are Wasps that are straight as Buzzz's! I am looking for something between a drone and a Buzzz
I like my first year (tourney only) X Wasps. They're pretty durable too. A dome on those seems to give it more flex. The Cam Todd and a Cross Canyon one that I have are what I call the "Clear Z Phenom's". They're flat and clear or ice Z (with a white rim) always seems to me to be more overstable and durable. My Avengers and Wildcats are all clear.
Lime green ESP seems to be pretty flat and overstable, to me as well.

If the Zones are now approved is there any word on when a production run may be available? And am I correct to assume I'm safe to go ahead & add the prototype to my tourney bag?

I just hope that it's the same thing as this blank black prototype that I have. Think XD top with a Buzzz SS bottom.

I wouldn't use it in PDGA competitions until you see it on The PDGA approved list or you hear it from Discraft that it has been submitted and approved.

The rumor is that our packages at AmNat's contain A Z FORCE!!! I'll let you know if it's true after I buy up all the extra stock that they have tonight.

With all the talk about this disc I really want to try one out now. I was told at BG Ams that it was a putter, so I passed, but if its a middy then I'd love to try it out now. If it's as stable as you guys say it is then it sounds like I could be able to rip one hard down the fairway.

Your rumor is confirmed. I have a nice candy red Z Force & blue Pro D Zone. The force is much flatter than the 4 esp's I have.

Looks like it. I haven't thrown one, but that is the consensus. I also just watched it roll the straightest line I've seen a disc roll iin awhile. It's a wheel.
We'll see how many Z Forces are left after this weekend . I'm sure they'll be released eventually.
Two 54's won best shot.

How does the stability of the FLX Surge SS compare to the proline rogues? What colors are the most overstable (for the surge ss)?

IMO the Surge SS is the Rogue in FLX plastic. They fly exactly the same for me except that the Rogue skips a little farther than the Surge SS. I didn't find the Surge SS any more stable than the Rogue, eventhough some FLX discs are a lot more stable than their counterparts. I have a red standard production stamped Surge SS and two from BG AMS, no noticable stability differences. maybe someone else can clue you in on color differences better than me.

It is not just your opinion, that is a FACT on the SS Surge/Rogue.

It is like a Demon or a Gator. So, it depends on where you would use these discs as to how you would define this disc.

Default First Run Buzzz?

just wanted to confirm but theres not such thing as a wasp w/o a bead right?

I bought a cryztal 'wasp' on ebay and i'm thinking its a first run buzzz? It has a 04 worlds stamp on it... totally clear and wasp on the inner rim (but the shape of a buzzz). Compared it to a few other first run buzzz's I have and it appears to be the same thing.

I'll trade you for another beadless wasp.

i asked Mike Wagner about the Z force and the p[ossibility of it being a full production disc. his exact words were "nope." there are sparkel forces that are players cup fundraisers though...

Not a true 1st run z-buzzz but those 04 World cryZtal buzzzs were molded with the 1st run mold. The 1st run z-Buzzzs were run and released in late Sept/early Oct right before the 2003 USDGC. I took a few boxes there and sold out of everyone!

Default New orange D Challengers

I just pcked up 2 orange D Challengers and these ar stiffer and not as slick as my sig CT's. the blues, whites, and yellows felt normal. The blues were a bit stiffer tha the others, but not like these oranges.

Is this going to be a new trend for the Challengers?

When the Buzzz first came out all the discs had the word "WASP" on the inside of the rim. A Buzzz is a super straight modified wasp, says so right on the disc....
Most of them.....

I just started throwing some of the Pro_D plastics from Discraft. I throw the Pro-D Buzzz's and I bought 3 orange discs @ 178g. They are great out of the bag, straight as heck. But I hit a few trees and it almost useless. Has this always been the case or is it in fact the new plastic?
