I just replaced my KC Cheetah's with a white ESP XL and I am very happy with the results so far!

I replaced my Z-Xpress with the ESP SS Avenger. The SS Avenger travels much faster and longer than the XPress. If i need something shorter or slower i go with da buzzz.

So are all White ESPs flat? I have two Trackers that are white and have no dome whereas the Blue one I have has a huge dome. I have also noticed this in the Flashes but you don't want the flat ones anyway.
If the white XLs are flat like the Tracker they may have potential.

The Orange I had I believe was the flattest of the bunch but not nearly as flat as a Z.

So the Challenger is Discraft's most popular putter...ESP seems like Discraft's most popular plastic...Why is there no (true)ESP Challenger? Maybe Discraft would feel guilty introducing the best driver putter ever...at least that's my best theory.

Actually I don't have a problem with this because putters in "good" plastic don't fly as far in most cases.

so are the supercolor challengers not esp? are they x or d then? and what plastic are the cam todd challengers in?
I've been trying to pick back up the d magnet lately, but my old D Magnets seemed a little firmer than the ones I've bought recently. Now that it's getting hot here in Texas, my new D Mags are turning gooey

Super colors are in D and X. CT's are just a stiff D. New D magnets are soft. I was pi$$ed when I got some in. I remeber my old ones from when I started plating and they were super stiff

If the new D Magnets are too soft try a Glo Magnet. I get them from Marshall St. or GGGT. They are plenty stiff!

FLX Surge vs. ESP Surge Has anyone noticed much difference between the flight characteristics of these discs?

I find the ESP to be able to hold turnover lines longer, while the FLX Surge IMO is the most stable of the bunch, and cuts hard to the left at the end of its flight. I always preferred the Z Surge myself though.

FLX Surges show a lot of variation in stability compared to the other plastics imo. The FLX are the fastest out of the hand, but they lose speed and spin more quickly than the other plastics. This makes them seem more stable as they fade out quicker. FLX Surges also track right and lose altitude quicker when they are flying turned over. The ESPs are the longest, with more turn and fade than the Z. The ESPs are faster than the Z. The Z Surge is the straightest and has the least low speed fade. They also turn slower when flipped.

well yea it kinda will be, i know they had been having problems with consistenly getting the disc to weigh up properly in the mold, so there are still things for them to work out with this one

I saw a Supercolor Surge yesterday at the outdoors store, and it was rated 1.5 instead of the normal 1.7. Curious as to why this Surge was rated less, and how many are there? And if anyone has any experience with these 1.5 surges, how do they fly?

The supercolor surge are noticeably less high speed stable when compared to the normal runs of esp surges.

I find the ESP to be very similar to the Z (not first run, the stability of the first runs is rather unpredicatable). I used to throw Z-Crush's for my primary driver and made a very smooth switch to the ESP's. The main drawback of the ESP's is that they get beat up quicker...
