That is what I've heard. Looked at the pictures and, as with all pictures, they never really do a course justice. Also the fact of playing as a team is exciting to me.

speaking of A1A. my dad used to have family down in Miami in the 60's. and he used to drive my mom and sister down there before i was born. from N.C. to Miami you woudl have had to take Hwy. 17 all the way down to Jacksonville Fl. then get on A1A from Jacksonville to miami. I-95 was not built till much later. it used to take them 3 days to drive what takes me about 13 hours now

Default CPWO?

I'm trying to find info on the Coastal Plains Winter Open, but since I'm kinda new to this I'm having a couple of problems.

I visited the Onslow Flying Disc Association website, who is apparently hosting the PDGA sanctioned event. Unfortunately, their February link doesn't work and their site has no info on it at all.

Do you have to sign up for these events in advance? Or just show and throw?

Honestly, since I just got my PDGA profile...I would love to have something on there. A blank page is rather lousy.

On another note, does anyone else get a chance to play during lunch on weekdays? I'm planning on sneaking out at least twice a week for 18 at 12 or 1. I went today and didn't know anyone out there.

Mama Say Mama Sa Mama Cu Sa,

My neighbor Neal that works with the parks said that there was a complaint about the trash that got pilled up on hole 4 and left there. I don’t think it was there long and was only separated so that it could be recycled. It sounded like someone was making a big deal about it. They wanted Neal to call someone at the club and say that we needed to keep up with it better or something...especially if we wanted another course. I explained that it wasn't the core group of golfers that are filling all the trash cans but all the rec players. Which comes back to only having the one course. We are the ones attempting to maintain the course on our own time. It sounded a little petty to me, but because it was visible from the street it probably did look pretty bad. I know that I saw it there and thought that it did. But then it got scooped up shortly after. Anyway, just a heads up.

Rory,
I spoke to Neal Lewis (head of parks) and Wayne Moher (superintendant of parks) and neither of them had any recolection or had not heard anyhting of the situation Neal Robertson approached you with so i am hoping like you alluded to it was no big deal.
