Will doubles be changing to a weekday when the time changes? I remember reading somewhere that they used to be before the time change. I go out of town a lot on the weekends and would personally love to see it during the week once the time changes and it starts getting darker later.

Anyways, I guess I can ask tonight.

Yeah, we had doubles Saturday. I'm sure someone will post the results. All I remember was Chad and Rudy getting 2nd again.

Yes we do week day doubles once daylight savings takes effect and the days get longer. we have historically done it either Tuesday or Thursday nights. 6:00 p.m. Tee time (i think) usually starts around Memorial day. we need a long day to fit the long rounds in at the castle.

sat march 15 doubles results...scuba/drew (59) win in 4 way tie breaker on hole 1 ($40) brad/chi take 2nd on hole 3 (10$) scuba wins bag o bucks on hole 13 (9$) ace pool now at? I have the money for the ace pool, who's holding? I will meet up with you on the course or at the next meeting. Thanks to all who came out for a beautiful day of doubles.

Let's resurect an old thread with new info.

Rory i like your thinking and yes we may need to use some shorter layout for the first 2 weeks to conserve time. maybe short 4 short 8 something like that.

apparently the mat on 15 was taken, boz has 1 more and clay has one but we shouldn't leave it there due to the lack of respect people have, we could keep one in the shed and haul it out. it would be up to us each week to use it for dubs.

Are we still doing Pro/Am doubles? The only time that I have been this year we weren't able to do it that way...and we had like 8 or 10 people. It was just obvious that we couldnt draw a line down the middle. It would be nice to have a format figured out before hand, but I guess we can play it by ear if we have to.

all Club Doubles will be seated pro/am doubles. we will have a bag of bucks for this weeks doubles as well. it is the kick off so lets get a great turn out. start spreeding the word!!

WOTS is there are multiple speed traps on North College Rd. in Murryville. be careful and get there early so you don't have to speed.
