Nope not this year. The rumors were to try and get enough money raised from night golf out at Mitch Macs, and between Lions and Mitch's course we could have an A tier. Thats what I heard.

The A tier plans are for the 30th , this year as thread indicates is the 29th .
At this time it is not even a PDGA event as per the Magazine ( not listed on memorial day weekend ) however I am sure it will be a B tier . |

The 29th Norman Pro/Am is on the online schedule as a B tier. There is talk of trying to make the 30th (next year) an A tier.

I think Danny said that Griffin players pack is FLX Surge, which that is a sweet deal. But the Pro/Am wont cap at 90 like the GPO will so there will be more people there. I did play Griffin yesterday and it looks awesome fairways were mowed and the ruff was tall and green, and with all the trees turning green it looks sweet.

OK
Wife of M , ( would it be more correct to say MRS. C ) Your Husband MC is cordially invited to BOTH the Griffen Park open April 28,29 and the Norman PRO am on Memorial day weekend . While we are at it , I just found out about a Pauls Valley tourney on May 5th . If you are going to be in the dog house you might as well get as much tourney play as possible . |

You guys leave Charlie Hustle alone. The truth is Conners is getting old and I don't know if he is physically able to play more than one tourny.

I'll post when the Online Registration for the PRO AM is up and running. It was great seeing everyone again in OK! Coda's Ace on # 4 during the Final Nine at GPO was SICK!

SO the word for the tourney is :
DIG is the MAN I AM the tourney director for the 29th Norman PRO AM The players package takes one step up ( or to be more precise more stable ) IT will be a a STAR T-REX X and usual PHAT players pack that I am know for . Sponsors so far Innova Budweiser Pepe Delgado's Top of the World Twisted Flyer Norman disc golf association Pennsylvania Bill Geibel ( he is also running Friday night doubles and this year will be done right PRO/AM teams PRO /AM Cut will be about 927 rating ) Solstice disc sports ( who at this very time is taking online registation at eatsleepdisc.com ) Norman Plywood PENDING sponsors Campus Lodge El Chico's ( who for last 4 years have provided Saturdays Lunch ) There is also a "secret" after party ( for those who HELPED to provide a truely great 29th event ) . IF there is anyone who actually wants to try to get ahold of me on here ( YES I HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS ) Contact me here at Dig16035@sbcglobal.net |
