I was looking at websites of courses in Texas and found one that had a blurb about the shoe tree coming down. It linked to the story on SignOnSanDiego. Guess the story was more national than I thought.

I didn't lose any money.

Somehow, I saw this coming.

Maroney is too good for our secondary (he already made it past the D-line while I typed that last sentence). Welker's hands are ball magnets (try not to take that the wrong way). And New England knows how to score a touchdown (I guess it's Brady's experience with scoring with the ladies. Have you seen his girlfriend?? ).

Here's a few plusses, though:

Kaeding proved that he can actually make some field goals in the postseason. Cromartie gets my vote for Defensive Player of the Year. Once again showing us how he can pick off the "Unpickable" (Manning and Brady). Turner makes all second-string running backs proud. And Rivers goes sackless throughout the whole game against one of the best, if not the best, defenses in the NFL with two knee braces on (once again, we're talking football, not...other stuff).

One thing I want all of you to know: I'm still a Chargers fan. If I wasn't, then I'd say: Chargers suck.

Now we can focus on something we all love: Disc Golf

Notice the strapping, fit young Snapper in the first video, and then the wiser, more sleeved Snapper in the new video.

They forgot about the pink and green roller blades that were up in the tree. Did anybody ever notice those, or was it just me?

Is it a tree or a sapling. Maybe like the bushy tree behind teepad 2. That one grew up really fast but rarely comes into play.

Default My missing Firebird

A few months ago I lost a Champion Firebird on hole #18 (left position). I got a call from the pro shop several weeks ago telling me the disc had been turned in. It is a smoke-grey Champion Firebird, 150g with my name, PDGA# and phone # written inside the rim. The pro shop folks told me that it was in the tie-dye bin (it does have a rainbow-iridescent look to it...). I asked a few different people to pick it up for me since i haven't been able to get down there, but no one has told me if they retrieved it.

Has anybody picked it up?

Yeah, Willie shot lights out (took Aces tag #9 in the first round, I was on his card.) I took third in Int (-3) behind (Bagger)Mitch (-7) and a new guy named Bryce (-8) (he was on fire in round 2 and will now be in Advanced.) Carl finished in third in Advanced with a -12 (he and Willie have to play Open now) and I believe Micah edged out Carlo -19 to -18 but Carlo took the #1 tag by beating Micah in the second round. Hope you're ready for tomorrow Dave. See you in the morning.

Default Morley Field Doubles

Wednesday Dubs results:

Trey/Justin F. -17
Mike S./Jon R. -16
Tom O./Dan -14
Roper/Crash -13
Mike L./Carl -12

I would like to see more of the Morley Dubs results posted. I can do it on Friday, but I rarely can play on Wednesday and it would be cool if someone could step up and post them.

Yes.
For the latest information concerning San Diego events, please check the San Diego Aces Website .

The top left corner has information concerning upcoming San Diego events including monthlies. The calendar is a little difficult, but I found if you click on the "2008" button and scroll down to the information at the bottom, you will find everything you need.
