Default We need dirt moved

O.K. enogh fun - back to course work. The boxes do look good, but we still need to back fill. The dirt will keep shrinking & ya'll with long run ups will continue to be hosed if we don't fix them. It's not pizz hot right now & I know that makes us all want to golf, but it will be soon, so let's get this finished up this weekend. It only takes a shovle & a broom to make this happen. Thanx for steppin up and stopping the crickets. Edman no work for you today - I see skins in your future. Need a designated driver? I'll stick with beer, you hit the whiskey.

Anybody know if any work was done at the Rock?
I know there was some tee boxes that needed back filled, but I had to miss.
If not, after work, but before I got to see my mother, I will do a little.

Heard a rumor that Smitty could get some dirt from work, which would be way easier, all we have do is rake it out. I figured 4-5 loads. JD was going to check on it last night. JD?
Someone should call the city. They didn't give us much time to back fill. I don't understand why the guys picking up the dirt just didn't back fill them then, so much easier. After the situation they put is in before the 1st pour they need to get an earful from the club. I'll be glad to be diplomatic if someone pm's me the conatact #.

I drive a company truck so using it to haul dirt might be ok. Heck I hauled form's and wire mesh and concrete tools all over the place. Would need to be a dry day (several days in a row) before I would pull into the park off the roads with a load of dirt. Its not a 4x4! I assume we are in no hurry now due to excess dirt being removed from boxes. I know the weather outside now and for the next few days is not going to be nice to us. So unless you/we know someone with a 4x4 truck then I would say its going to be awhile before we/I can get in there to spread dirt. And that all depends when/where we can get dirt, free, pay for, what???

Tee box #6 is done and there is fish in the little pond off to the side.
# 4 needs a little dirt
#5 & # 6 need a lot of dirt
AND
# c tee box (short and long need retainer walls built and filled in.
While we are at it.....the hammock rock pile on C basket needs to be restacked and concreted. If we get the rocks pile back up the city will be able to mow that area on the the green.

Any takers on finishing up the dirt work this week? 5 guys could finish it in 2-3 hours with the trailer I can bring. Don't be skeered of a little run-up. Let's finish it before the Solo which is only 2 1/2 weeks out.

Here are somethings people can take on their own.
Clear up the woods around #16 & #17 basket
trim up the trees in the fairway of #c
Stack and morter/glue the rock pile by #c basket (this need to be restaacked or removed so the mowers can do their job)
Dig level the area behind pro tee box #c (need area behind the box to sit 3 to 4 people while playing the hole.
Weed eat the path down the dam side of #b tee box.
Weed eat and restack walls on tee box# 10
There is plenty that can be done without us organizing a workday.
TAKE SOME PRIDE IN YOUR COURSE
Even master players can help out
