Roc there is a product called Houdini and Ace Lock & Key could prob hook you up with that. They are the Locksmiths that re-keyed the locks for you guys. If Rusty can't get it I will bring some up in August. If you spray the locks then take them off and spray again let all the gummy stuff come out you will not have any problems. Some sprays will cause problems in the future and Houdini is the best stuff on the market when it comes to locks. If you guys have any problems with any lock issues that's what I do for a living so call me or PM me and I will get one of the local Locksmiths to help you guys out.

Default Stolen Basket

Hi guys. The evil side of DG has shown up. Any help to control would be greatly appreciated....spread the word.

There has been a rash of vandalism on the news recently at McAlilster Park (Legacy Play Village and Baseball Fields). The disc golf course now is part of the vandalism. We lost a basket, hole 14 at the far SW corner of the course, sometime over the weekend. The basket, I believe a Mach V, was removed from the pole base. I had locks located a few inches under the basket portion...thus the pole of the basket will have a hole in it a few inches under the basket portion. Also, I painted one of the 'spikes' on the basket orange (to point to the next tee). I'll put up $100 myself to get the basket back and to handle the theif. Disc golfers unite and control theft at all courses. Contact me with any leads (806-798-8381).

Also, the tee post for hole 12 pro was hit and damaged. I don't think these incedents would be related.

I hope you can make it Manuel, we always enjoy seeing you here! Bring as many others as you can, they won't be dissappointed.

I got some of the locks undone, the Parks and Rec. guys have some stuff called "Open and Shut" that worked really well. I'll try it on some others later this evening and see if they'll open.

Any requests on basket positions?

I will be there for sure and I think Ken will be as well. They are driving in Thursday and he will be bringing a couple of guys who have not been to Amarillo before. We really push The Amarillo events because you guys do it right. This will be my 7th tournament including DisCrazy/TOTO and I have had too much fun each time. Can't wait to see you guys again - yall make my work week in Amarillo so much better.

Basket positions - ALL LONG

See yall next week

Yeah...Im sooo glad Misti and i have a place to stay in Amarillo so we can make every event they have. Disc Creek is probably my favorite course for a reason!!! This will be my 12th Amarillo tournament...by far the most I've played on a single course.

Plus it's pretty nice that Jess and Janie's house is right around the corner from Hole 1!

We've had a LOT of rain this past week so the course is really greening up and the creek is flowing fast. Dang, if it wasn't for a few poor-sport crybabies, we could ask the Parks Dept. to mow the fairways again like they did a few years ago and give everyone a real treat! Sadly though, those times will probably never happen again. Thanks a LOT looser!

Negative

This time of the year it would take a small army of volunteers to make that area playable, and our volunteer base is very small. I wish we could though.....

Just want to say thanks to all the Discers in Amarillo. I really enjoyed the Top of Texas Open and also getting to hang out with you guys Wed and Thur playing the weekly mini events. I wish Amarillo was closer because Thompson Park is one of my favorite courses in Texas. The small changes really made the course that much more of a challange.

Anytime you guys are in Irving - DFW area look me up and we will disc all over DFW. Plenty of courses to choose from. See yall in Lubbock for Big Arms or Nov. during my next sales trip.

ICE BOWL weather fo sho! Snowing today, first of the season. Probably won't be enough to have to shovel T-pads, but you never can tell in this part of the world.

ICE BOWL merchandise can be ordered! I've got the list in my truck, so when you're ready to order, find BIG WHITEY. Lots of good stuff this year and very good prices!

Was it Steve with the forehand delux shot? Or Jack with the glove?

Nope, not Steve. Not the glove, either. I haven't seen that aparatus in a while, just a passing fad .

Tom G. hits AGAIN!!! And to show his sportsmanship, he left $40.00 in the pot so it won't have to start at ZERO.
