I would like to comment on Kevin Jones. This kid exibits the kind of attitude that all golfers need to have. He was a pleasure to be around, always had a smile. He's also got huge game. He humiliated the MA2 card he was on the first round. He came off the back 9 walking ahead of his group, again he was all smiles. When the rest of the group came over the bridge, they had their heads down and just shaking their heads. I asked "hows it going?" The only replay I got, was "this kid is killing us"


Thanks to all of the Arkansas crew that came over and for the donations and the fantastic trophies from Evan.

Wow, Eads did tear it up, looks like he could of cashed in Open, excellent ratings - I'm all for under 970 pro's being able to play in am divisions and if he keeps this up his ratings will climb over 970, it would be interesting to see Eads play on the big stage with the big boys - Big Congratulations!!

and TwoPutt is very right about Kevin, he's a true class act that I'll be proud to lose to any day

WAFDA !!!!!!! We have a problem !!!!!!!

I and every disc golfer that plays Ben Geren appreciates the mowing of the Disc Golf course !!!!!! The back part of Ben Geren Park, when mowed is a beautiful site to behold !!!!!!

But so far this year we're having problems with mowers hitting the baskets on the course !!!!! We've had one basket damaged from last fall !!!!! NOW the count of damaged baskets today is five, that's four more just since the mowing season began !!!!

The problem is at this rate we won't have any baskets left that aren't damaged by the end of the mowing season !!!!!

WAFDA needs to appoint are (PR) guy to discuss the problem with the Judge to see if we can come up with a solution to the problem !!!!!!! Ben Geren is worth the effort to find a workable solution !!!!!!

I talked to the parks director around 2 weeks ago about #8 and #12
he said that they would fix it

I will make sure that our parks director knows as well as his boss

we have purchased some of those baskets when we formed as an association, originally it was to be a 9 hole course, we purchased 3 of them and the tee-pads and signage to make it an 18 hole with what the county's budget for it was 5 years ago

we also purchased the practice basket a few years later and had also paid for the original alternate sleeves when the course went permanent - they have replaced several sleeves that they are able to manufacture, the employee with the "know-how" about the sleeves is no longer with them however the damaged sleeves were also discussed when I originally talked to them awhile back - baskets were priority (now there are 5 instead of 2), sleeves were scheduled to be fixed by Hell on the Border
