I have 2, 1 first run star stamp and a red with a custom stamp. You aren't throwing one are u? They were considered understable in an era when the stingray was still considered a long range driver

I loved the Barracuda! I still have one (beat up pretty bad now) but don't throw it anymore. If they made them again I would for sure buy some.
I also think the Moray should make a comeback... great mid range disc. |

You serious? I know a guy who bought a box of these years ago and no longer throws them. I can provide you an inventory (weights, colors) of what he has left if you are interested. I'm sure most if not all of what he has is unthrown.

The logo and the name are cool but when you throw one you just . .. .well, there's a guy that actually forehands them out here and last time I saw him he said he still had a stack of about 30 ("If I quit playing when I'm 80, I'll still have 10 cuda's dude"). His favorite expression when we'd play was -- "you shoulda cuda'd dude-a". He's not very creative.

I also have two one redish with the generic stamp and one first run, white with the star stamp.
Never liked the disc though, among the large diameter discs I prefered the Jaguar, still using it sometimes, for ex forehand rollers...

I didn't like the Barricuda either, I was throwing the Scorpion then. Try frisbeerancher or discgolfvalues
I've got '90 Worlds, Champion Star stamp and a few standard stamp in the collection. |

I have a couple of those Phoenix's ( Original War Weapons ) and a couple of premium Lynx's for MTA shots. The Phoenix can break tree branches, dent cars and nock guys off their bicycles. ![]() Also great for kangaroo skip shots. |

So I got a 176 BLUE CUDA from Doc here in Tulsa.
My first shot with it was from about 200 ft out and I squared the cage....MONEY DISC!!!!!! The basket left a dent in the disc so I guess I better stock up, forgot how brittle old school DX plastic is. |

lets play an old school round, must use all dx plastic and no molds allowed that were made after 1999.
dust off the cyclones and xd's its golfin time. Kevin I am sorry but everytime I read this thread I wonder if Tiger Woods has ever gone out looking for a persimion driver to use in tournament play... I have to think that you could get the same result from a current model with added benifits in the durability column.

And I have played a round in a sanctioned tournament with the early discs. Horizons park, the oldest course in NC, last year. Also the shortest course in the state. Very easy to shoot 10 to 18 under. Shot a -11 with the oldies. Bag set up was as follows. Barracuda Lynx Marauder Vortex 2 Hammers Griffin Pat. Pend. Aero Coupe 5 on the card and the only disc the other 4 knew was the Aero although none of them had ever seen a Pat. Pend. After every shot it was the same question you always hear. What was that you threw??? A Lynx. A what??? Lynx Do they make it in Champion plastic??? Chuckle |
