Some of the footage is taken on Pender Island where the original front 9 at magic lake are still tonals. We also filmed a tournament at a private tonal course on Pender. Most of the footage and courses around here are baskets though.

You boys will have to wait for a later run. All the proto-whites are gone... but I'm telling you, the green is better- straighter and unbelievable in the chains.

I don't know what you're getting at

for the record, that is not my explaination of disc golf... i've never even heard of half those terms
. Gotta love the press. Ah well, any publicity is good publicity. Oh yeah, the dvd is currently available thru our new website (link below), and will be available in US disc stores, both cyber and real, in the coming weeks . Lot's of disc manufacturing in the works... we're currently prototyping our own amazing driver (I almost feel like a sell-out ). TOUCH all the way!

Just wanted to let y'all know that this new and (if i do say so my self
) ground-breaking film on disc golf (not that I'm taking the credit) is currently available through the Snap website (link below) and select US dealers. Look for one of the first published reviews in the next issue of DGWN. So far the critics are fans! Better still, everyone seems to have their own favourite part.

Looking forward to it tho!

I watched Snap again tonight - very entertaining. George is a lunatic - what a temper. I would love to play a round of golf with him, waiting for the one thing that would set him off on a tirade.
The tournament play sequences are great - some excellent, varied, fast cuts from shot to shot, with good music. Unlike most tournament videos where you see the same shots over and over, the footage from the B.C. Open was of many different players throwing drives, approaches and putts. I'm reminded of the scene in Stripes where the platoon members are introducing themselves - Bill Murray to "Lee Harvey" after he describes how Harvey's friends got drunk and tried to make it with a cow - "you, sir are a wild man - I can't wait to party with you." Also, the freestyle sequence with Whitlock and Brown is fantastic. Too bad it ended up in the deleted scenes. More golfers need to see that type of disc artistry. The one negative I see is the language - the f-word is very prevalent. While that may be reality for these guys, it means that the movie won't be screened by my 8-yr-old daughter. All in all though, a lot of fun.
