Got 2 magics in today, Thanks Rusco. Got 1 glo 1 proto black.
I got about 15 minutes in on some putts, jump putts, and some 100' or so approaches. Different than I had thought. Not a straight drop like I had hopped. Nothing like a whitler or 86. It feels beefy in the hand to me. Kinda shaped like an APX if I recall correctly. I'm not a fan of beadless putter due to comfort issues, but this one feels pretty good. Not as glidey as I had thought it would be for puts and jump puts. I did like it for soft turning up shots and real straight ups. Still a bit more lss than I wanted. Hopefully with some seasoning it will lose that lss and keep about the same hss. All in all, I like it, but its different than what I had anticipated. Its going in the bag for further testing. |

Yeah, I believe they did. All I know is that I was at Dave's house and he said that they just came in. We went out to test throw them on our way to the shop and they were sweet. They do look more like the Quest injections on the back though.

Dave, do you know anything about smaller diameter Element Xs? i have one that's just slightly smaller than my other element Xs, but still enough that you can tell just by holding it in your hand without even comparing them. it's kind of a pink semi transparent color. do they fly much different? was this just a mistake?

Is it the flat top or domed top Element X? I have a flat top pearl white Element X and a Orange Domed top Element X.

Hey Dave...quick question for you. Any plans of running the Assassin in the "S" plastic?
Thanks, JT

Hello Dave,
I am curious how you make your plastics. I have an interest in this field and was wondering what materials and processes you use to make the final product. Many Thanks! |

Lol at the "Tom Sawyer program" but I have seen it in action. I don't know if you remember Dave but when Brad, Ant, Todd, I and whoever else was with us that year (wow, has it really been 8 or so years) came out and crashed at your place after Ozark, you, Tim, and Robo offered to let us stamp some discs in your basement. We turned you down because we were so fragged after the 15 hour drive and the tourny we just wanted sleep before we drove the 15 or so hours back home.
Trust me guys, if you show up and want to find out anything about how discs are made from start to finish, he wil show you. But definitely remember the Tom Sawyer painting the fence part. He will put you to work. But you will learn in the process. |

Come on Dave...don't kid about such things. I feel like I should be partially quoting field of dreams here..."If you host it, they will come". Is the land going up for sale or something? Ozark has a fond place in my heart, it was my first tournament ever. 1800Collect is one of the greatest holes I have ever played. And I four'ed it with a wizard.

The land is for sale, but I am not doing much to help sell it.
I am hoping to have some sort of a tournament there this spring. I am not sure exactly what it will be, but I'll let people know when I know! |

I can't guarantee that we'd be there but we would think awful hard about it. I'd love to come back.

I can pretty much guarantee you I'd be there---along with all the people I've made jealous that they never made it down back when they could've. Cound Des Moines in. Set the date.
I thought all the mountain course baskets were at Garverland? If baskets are needed, let me know, I'm sure I could get two down there. I'd probably even reconsider my trip to Emporia for this....

Finally got some good work with these today. I'm on the fence still. Still more stable than I'm wanting for approaches that are right out of jump putt range. I have one glo that's getting seasoned from some tree hits. It still fades on approaches. On drives its getting some turn. It has a neat looking flight. It will fly straight with a hyzer angle and goes slighly left then turn up flat then turn right. It looks like a shot Barry Schulz throws on the 06 MSDGC. Its a shot downhill tunnel shot and the commentator says, " I wish I had a disc that can do that." Now I do! I also have a black that is still flying like new. Both still seem to want to fight back left on approaches. They also want to go left on jump putts. Not as much as a wizard. They don't glide as much as I had anticipated either. I like my wizards more still, especially a beat to hell one I just got from JT. That one is magic _________________ |

Im loving the magic for straight approaches and the plastic on the glow is awesome. Its not stiff but kinda soft and supper grippy. I love the feel of the nose too. If you don't like your dgdave I will take them off your hands lol..

I agree. The magic is great. I am putting with warlocks but the magic is coming around. I also love them for approach and anyhzer drivees. Great disc to the gateway line up.

I tested a few over the weekend, and I have to say that this cuts the breaking in time down to virtually nothing. Warlocks are great in the hand, but this thing flips up brand new! Not in the bag now, but when I loose my flippy Wizard, the Magic will probably see game time.

did you make any of the new chalky proto wizards in the 165-169g range? The lightest I've found is 170g.
By the way, These wizards are great. Finally took the 10x aviars out of my bag. Thanks for saving me $40 a pop! |

Did you already check with our vendors to see if they had any left? I know we have some chalky SS Magics in lighter weights. We also made a small run (about 150)of MEDIUM/FIRM chalky Magics in shades of orange. |

Couldn't find any at the few places I asked.
Where can you get the medium Miagics? Do I need to call your shop or did you send them to vendors? |
