What is the Voodoo supposed to fly like? Or is it a lid type putter? Any info out there?

Not sure about that. It does sound more like a Gateway Putter though. It may be the dimpled mid-range or putter that Dave was working on.
The concave wing design will probably not make the market. It was a difficult disc to grip due to the major curve in the wing. |

The ebay auction should have read prototype run, not first run. Nikko does some of the eBay marketing, I usually go back and check the wording, but someone bid on the listing within a few minutes of it being up, and after its bid on, you cannot change the listing! They are a bit too over-stable compared to the production run. (first run assassins). I would say they are more like a tamed down Blaze with more glide! Besides these 10,,,, there aren't any others for sale and there cant be anymore made either! |

We have a few new putters coming besides the Magic.
We are working on a thumb groove for the top of new a putter and will use the name voodoo for a putter within the next 2 months or so, it may be for this type of putter, not sure yet. We just like the name "VOODOO" and wanted to get it out there!! |

Hey Dave, any plans to run the Assassin in "S" plastic?
Thanks, JT

yeah a putter with a thumb grip is always a good idea. I would definitely add one to my line up when its made.

Hey Dave,
I've got 3 chalky black wizards from about 2 years ago that have the Gateway Disc Sports hotstamp and nothing else. Are these prototypes for the wizard or for the chalky type wizard? I'm not terribly familiar with these. Also, 1 of them has an S on the bottom but the other 2 do not. Would these two be Soft Wizards by default? Thanks for your time! |

The S would be a soft Wizard. The other two could be a prototype. Do they feel more like an eraser rather than a normal S plastic?

They are all the same but only one of them is listed as soft. The others just don't have a designation on the bottom. They definitely don't feel like the normal S plastic. White chalky stuff all over them.

If they have the patterned white chalk throughout the disc, they are similar to the black Wizard protos that went out recently. The powder is Barium Sulfate.

Hey Dave I saw on the other thread you were mentioning about players getting a contract email and to send in the disc we will need for the 08 season. I didn't get the email but I just sent you one asking about it. Also I called the shop the other day to get a few disc but I can go ahead and get the rest of what I need for the season if you want.

Hey Dave,
I'm sure it's been asked before but..is the Scout the same disc as the Demon? Do you have any of the Red Demons with the black stamp of the devil in the center? Thank you in advance. doot

Hey Doot, if he's out, I might have one in my box I can let go. I cant guarantee it's got a black stamp but it is definitely on of the run you are looking for. Drop me a pm if Dave can't help you.

No problem brother. At last count I had 15 demons in my stockpile and the run you're looking for is my least favorite so I won't miss it.

I have a Red Demon to go with my other Demon. I like having two different stabilities in the Demon.

Yes, because they are the least stable. I personally like the protos and the big engraving (1st run?) but don't mind the G5i's. The newer demonhead stamped just aren't the meathook I like in a Demon. I've even had them start to flip slightly within the first year of use. That's not the Demons I'm used to.

I think it was the dome on them that made them so different as most of the red Demonhead run was very domey including the ones marked FX whereas most of the other runs that I listed were flatter overall.

I think you misread me. Those are mine, it's the domey red Demonheads that I wouldn't miss. Those flat MEATHOOKS are just sitting, waiting for their turn in the bag. As it is, I'm pretty sure I'll be throwing G5i's or older until I reach masters age. That's even if they bump the age up again like they did a few years ago.
