Hey Dave,

Looks like your guys are doing a great job this weekend...some at tournaments and JohnE went down south for a college event in Ft.Myers and did great with spreading the word to local players about Gateway plastic.

Looks like GG and Justin tied at Bowling Green and Lenny Gomez of Gateway South took first place by three strokes at the Gainseville Am trny this weekend. Great work to all Gateway guys at tournaments this weekend.

I am not for sure how the whole contact between how deals get done to carry discs. But I know of a few people around here that wish the local shop would carry at least some Gateway stuff in Bowling Green. They carry Innova, Discraft, and just recently started carrying Quest. http://www.natsoutdoor.com/ this is their web address if you want to try to get in contact with them.

Thanks Robert, I just sent them an email.
I haven't heard of any retail store owners that are "under contract" with a supplier.
If there is demand for our products, store owners can easily contact us for a wholesale price list or go to our website for information on becoming a retailer.
It doesn't hurt though to give them a nudge in our direction!
Here's is a direct link to the information on our "NEW" site:

illusion product page shows a picture of a hybrid... in case you didn't know...

like the new site though, hopefully I can find some time in between all this school work to provide some content for you

Doesn't look like I am going to make it down for the St Louis Open this year, I have a final exam at 230pm on Friday the 18th, probably cutting it too close for me to drive down.

I was wondering when I will be paid and credited for the items I supplied for your new website? I think the payment was supposed to be 10-20 discs per item used. I thought I'd wait until the site was up and going before I asked.

There is a lot of rebound resiliency in the plastic we use for our S even in the super softs.

For some reason Super-Soft Putters are very popular with the new players, but most top pro players use a medium flex for their main putters!
I do even the SS warlock out with a med wizard but i'm definitely no pro

We have prototypes of the Blast Dt, which is the Blurr?Rage top on the Speed demon DT wing, but probably wont be releasing it for a few months. I think we have enough High Speed Drivers at this point.
Not sure yet on the Assassin as the diablo DT is pretty sweet.
Most of our focus over the next month or so will be on getting stocked back up on Wizards and Warlocks of all flexibilities, colors and weights.
We have had HUGE late winter early spring surge of sales and have been pretty much wiped out of our inventory, so now we are trying to get caught up.

wow that is not a very aggressive sales technique. sounds like you need some go getters over there to get gateway blowing up. e-mail is cool but phone calls get discs shipped. waiting around for the retailers to call you is not how you grow business. Gateway makes great discs and man do i love my warlock good looking out guys.

Well that's why I went to Nat's yesterday and talked to them. They're interested now, so I guess a deal just has to be made.

Yeah I know we need a more aggressive sales and marketing program. We have created a lot of demand for the discs, now we just need to keep them in stock.
Phone calls and emails are good for setting up the meetings but the in person visits with point of sale display racks and a handshake is what really gets the job done.

Pat said he'll call you from his cell on Monday unless you want to call the store and ask for him personally. He'll be working all weekend so I figured this might be best.

That was pretty immature, dude. I dont see the purpose of giving a sarcastic remark. I'm just trying to help Dave get Gateway here in BG. It's not like I'm lifting myself up on a pedestal.

dude i am going to be honest with you man and sorry to gateway for the thread drift but your posts make me really not like you. i have never met you and as far as i am concerned i would prefer to keep it that way. it started with you ignorant (and i mean that in the purist sense of the word not calling you names) assesments of the bowling green am from the start of the thread and it continues to now. i have never used the ignore function on this message board but i just put you there. peace homie and good luck in the future.

Okay. I dont know you either so it doesnt affect me, plus its the internet and internet feuds are just ridiculous. But if you think im ignorant that's fine with me. I appreciate open honesty, and hate it when people beat around the bush. But I'm not gonna lose sleep.
