I guess from now on I am going to require insurance with all my auctions.

I've never had a delivery problem for 4 years until recent where a ebay buyer that had a couple negatives for feedback explained they didn't receive there disc. They didn't pay for insurance. I hate being the mean person but were not responsible if you don't buy insurance.

Am I wrong people? Any thoughts?

I have learned to always ship via a trackable method (UPS Ground is my preference) to avoid such sticky situations. In this case (particularly considering the neg feedback) I'd feel bad, too, but the buyer is SOL.

Always get tracking, it proves you shipped to their address

No insurance, no shipping receipt, bummer. Ive never had a package not ship, but advertise insurance if wanted. If you dont get it, and I got proof I sent it, tough cookies.

No insurance, no shipping receipt, bummer. Ive never had a package not ship, but advertise insurance if wanted. If you dont get it, and I got proof I sent it, tough cookies. Take it up with the USPS. Ive recieved damaged discs in the mail and was told the same thing. Talk to USPS. No insurance, buyer beware.

I just sent off a disc package yesterday. USPS Priority Mail came to $5.30, I added delivery confirmation for only $0.50 more. Seemed like a pretty decent price to get a tracking number.

What other options do you regular traders use? Trading pros have any good tips (sending or receiving) for newbie traders like me?

UPS Ground. $4-6 for one disc & mini (depending on what part of the country), trackable, signature confirmation, built-in insurance.
