That's true, image use on a small scale isn't really important to whoever owns Stewie or Chrysler. Batman and Phish are awesome, I'd get into disc golf if I saw a Batman frisbee.. that's cool. It's technically not cool, in legal art theory, but on a disc, it's rad. I support the discinterpretation of disc art theory.

I try not to do it, but sometimes you can't draw a frog without a picture right?
Is it on a a small scale?
I see nothing but large quanity's of this stuff being done.
you guy's are giving disc golf a bad name.

Default Not Ebay but worth checking out

An old friend of mine called me tonight to tell me he's selling off his collection. And boy are we talking about a collection. It's not listed on Ebay but Disc Golf Review instead. Here's the link: discs for sale
We are talking Innova protos from the late '80s/early '90s, 8x & 9x discs, old Puppies, Hall of Famers, it's too much of a list for me to type it all. Go check it out for yourself. It will be worth your time.

Did you miss out on getting a USDGC Little Wing? Well, this disc has a similar look to it and you'll even be listed as a sponsor for our B-Tier in May.

I have more but many of them are already spoken for. Let me know if you are interested and we can work something out.

Default Re: Ebay fees going up up up

So Ebay is giving sellers a 5 cent discount on most listing fees and they are giving sellers a 35 cent discount for gallery pics. Sounds good, huh?

Get ready to grab your ankles for the new final fees though.....

Final Value Fees for Auction-style and Fixed Price listings

(effective 02/20/2008)

Item not sold = No fee , No change

$0.01-$25.00 = was 5.25% of the closing value and is going up to 8.75% of the closing value

$25.01 - $1,000.00 = was 5.25% of the initial $25.00, plus 3.25% of the remaining closing value balance ($25.01 to $1,000.00) and is going up to 8.75% of the initial $25.00, plus 3.50% of the remaining closing value balance ($25.01 to $1,000.00)

Over $1,000.01 = was 5.25% of the initial $25.00, plus 3.25% of the initial $25.00 - $1,000.00 plus 1.50% of the remaining closing value balance ($1,000.01 - closing value) is going up to 8.75% of the initial $25.00, plus 3.50% of the initial $25.00 - $1,000.00 plus 1.50% of the remaining closing value balance ($1,000.01 - closing value)

Anyone know this seller? I have a good idea what kind of water-rat took my disc that had my Name, PDGA# and Phone # on it, but if I can resolve this easily that would be much better:

MY STEVE PARKER DYED JOHNNY CASH DISC

can you make them remove an auction at all if you can prove it is your disc and the seller doesn't cooperate?

Ebay will remove it based on the content of the image alone.

I sold a disc to him in late september. Item #330151913430. He is in Denton. Sadly it's been too long since the sale on Ebay for me to find out the details. Let me dig through my PAYPAL account to see if that generates a name.

Please do John..I sent another msg and he stopped responding instantly when I inquired where he "found it"...I know I lost it, but we have a problem with these water-rats in Carrollton and if I can figure out who it is, we can make him a nice Pariah (sp?) in Carrollton

He has A LOT of negative or neutral feedback and all of his responses are rough and negative..not sure Ebay will get the auctioned yanked in the next 2+ hours

He had a clear x-out teebird up a couple monthes ago and had it listed as a first run ce. The early proto type kind that had the special edition stamp. I messaged him telling him that it wasn't one and he replyed, "I'm pretty sure you're right on this one, I just thout I'd do this to get a few extra bucks."

he has already told me (and I saved the msg) that he fishes about 5 or 6 of our courses every week and if he doesn't recognize the name (he doesn't golf - just takes discs) he "cleans" (erases the ink) them up and sells them on ebay..

I know I lost it, but it's hard to believe the golf family has that kind of element..darn I miss the old school golfers that were honest...I still have a few Midnight Flyers with my name on them...I'd like to see him remove the ink on those since it sunk all the way through the disc

I know you are John and you are definately one of the happy golfers out there..when you golf

I haven't hit your PM yet, but I finally gave up..Parker can dye me another one,

enjoy my response to him - Too Harsh??? Maybe..

you are seriously going to end this auction this way?..I know and you know you can pull the acution whenever you want

2nd..being what I hoped was a real disc golfer you would have the scruples to honor the game and the player..I lost it, but I marked it and don't believe for a second there wasn't ink on there when I lost it..I know the day...ink doesn't fall off that quickly anywhere

I am going to assume you are not PDGA member and if you are not, you should join and play for the right reasons and not take discs from the water with PDGA #'s, or Phone #'s on them and resell them

if you fish those waters you have found more than one of mine and I have never rcvd a call and all are marked

water-rats are not a appreciated part of the game unless you do the right thing and return the discs to the golfers that threw them and they do the same

From you responses on your bad sales I am going to assume you don't really care, but you are messing up a great game #17684

Ebay wouldn't let me type any more characters after that point
