I think we need to make an example out of Harrell- I propose we do a fire drill, like in wall ball-Have Mike put his hands on a basket-bend over and let everyone huck a mini at him-

Thanks, Gonzo was a lot of fun for me. Not bad for first pro event. Held my own I think and most of all, had a great time. Would have been nice to cash, but what the heck, played pretty well till the back 9-saturday afternoon. I guess my age got to me down the stretch (had no CFO'S). Looking forward to next tourney.

that's the thing about trying to repeat.........it doesn't always work out that way. I've tried wearing the same shirt i wore on a past good round, tried listening to the same music on the way to old settler's, tried bring a sh*tload of beer because a past round i shot good while chugging CFOs, tried wearing the same crappy old sunglasses that worked good last summer.........and a few other ritualistic things.....and it never works dang it!!!!

Default Club Party/Bennefit September 29th

The Double R Disc Golf Club is proud to annouce this years club party. This is a memebers only event - Double R Members ONLY. We are asking for donations of $5+ dollars for admission on September 29th at Stoney Hill (Paul Berlind's) This is a donation, not a mandatory fee, if you can afford more, give more. If you can't afford it you can't afford it, but are welcome to attend & participate.
All monies go to the WWF - for every $5 of merchandise you donate to the raffle, you'll get a raffle ticket (they can also be purchased for $2 a ticket - going to the WWF)
The Double R Disc Golf Club will provide at least one keg, brisket, chicken, & sasauge.
Edman & I will bring our smoker out Friday to cook & I'll make potatoe salad & pinto beans for everyone - maybe corn bread too.
We will have 2 rounds of golf @ $5 a round - 1st round @ 9am so the 2nd can be finished in time for people to attend the Twin Parks Sleeper. Pay out to be decided - may go to WWF.
We'll have a sign up sheet Wednesday for the rest of the food. We've always had a great time @ Paul's!! Let's remeber to thank him & his family for allowing us to invade their utopia - again.
Hope I remebered everything - if you have questions or requests, let us know. Now let's hear it for the best freakin' club/family around!! ROUND ROCK
