I agree, very boring just playing those two courses twice a month every month but Jamie stepped up to run these and his/clubs call is where its at. Thank you Jamie for running the mini's. We need OSP long course for 1 time during the month and we should look at North Town one time a moth as well, in my opinion. I personally think singles for Rivery and Wilco and Doubles for OSP Long and North Town. The extra day we might have during the month can be whatever in my opinion. |

Seems like you've changed your mind with all the positive feed back you've got for Jamie. Thank you for your honesty & insight.

You can copy and paste. WOW ! I still do not have the desire to HELP or DIRECT this club through the CABINET. But my MEMBER OPINION on the Sundays mini's still stands. What if members don't give their OPINION then how will we know what people think. Oh wait we can just bash people on a discussion board. Good ol Double R.
Section 7 – Membership rules: 7.1 Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Please keep in mind that you are representing Double R Disc Golf in all club events. Inappropriate behavior includes fighting, or any aggressive behavior, and generally being rude and making the club look bad. Immediate Dismissal from the club event and review of your membership by the board for non-compliance. "generally being rude and making the club look bad." .................................. |

"Please keep in mind that you are representing Double R Disc Golf in all club events."
Posting to the PDGA discussion board is a club event? This board is monitored by the PDGA - not the cabinet. It is an open forum to all current PDGA members - club or not. How can my comment of "Seems like you've changed your mind with all the positive feed back you've got for Jamie. Thank you for your honesty & insight." be seen as "Inappropriate behavior includes fighting, or any aggressive behavior, and generally being rude and making the club look bad." I mearly stated that it seems you've had a change of mind given that you are now providing feed back & in put. Your perception of my statement doesn't make it a reality - it makes it your perception.

So, for the third time of typing this all out (PDGA site messin up)
5 players no aces Jamie 54 $20 Blake/Mike B 59 split $10 CTP Jamie $5 I have $135 for ace pot. There are three minis I didnt run (MattR/Ware) that I dont have money for so that isnt included in ace pot figure. On a side note.... I did not make mini schedule. The cabinet at that time voted on the sites and to increase the payout by $1 and have only 1 CTP instead of 2(which I like, personally). It was originally done because of attendance. There were only 2-3 people showing up for the minis at the Rock. Attendance has been better but still not great by any means. I do know there have been several new members since I started runnin minis at these places. As far as I'm concerned, input is always welcome and considered, but most of the input here is coming from people who rarely, if ever, attend a Sunday mini, even before I started running them at these places. I have always been a Sunday mini player and rarely make a Wednesday because of my schedule. So I have a pretty good idea on who's usually there and who is not. Would someone be interested in running the Sunday mini???????? School and work take almost all of my time. They have been a lot more involved than I originally thought. As it stands right now, I take half of my ONLY free day a week to run the minis, not leaving much time to get other stuff done, much less even relax for a little. So if there is anyone out there who would like to step up, please do so. |
