The work day went great! And the city has continued the work by working all this week on the course. The improvements to the course area grear addition to the all ready tight holes. This will, in my opinoun, be a favorite course of all.
This Saturday we are working the course at 9:30, come out and find us.
We are hoping to have the baskets moved in 2 weeks.

I had to mark more trees last night , just to keep the city workers busy the rest of the week.
Hopefully by the time we get there Saturday we will only have to fine tune the fairways. And spread mulch in the right places

Default moving baskets Feb. 11

Things are going ahead of schedule on the Rivery redesign. The city has mulched 95% of what was cut by us as well as them. We have one hole left to cut, the 666' hole that joins back with original course. I will post tomorrow work day details for the 4th and 11th. If we get the OK tomorrow there is no reason we couldn't have the rest of the trees done as well as baskets set by the 11th. We will need lots of help. Stay tuned.
Could somebody please put this on the Rivery thread. thanks edman

I have done everything but go find the guy who has to give us approval for this weekend. I'll let you know as soon as I hear something, or when me and Joey Saprano find him.

Default work day moved to 12:00

The Double R DGC is having a worday this Saturday the 25th at noon not, 8 am as previously posted. So those of you not going to one of the area events, sleep in and please join us for the last push to finish this course before TX States Pro Doubles. We hope to have it done this weekend so it will be playable next weekend, one week before the tournament. Tools needed will be hard rakes and loppers. With your help we will finish Central Texas's newest jewel. CFO's provided.

Directions: 35 S to 261A make U turn at light head south on access road. Turn Right on Rivery dr. Go past Wendy's about 1/4 of a mile. Pop the curb on the right where the asphalt ramp is layed. Go down the hill take a right. Go past pavillion and follow road all the way to the bridge, park and walk down paved trail to first basket on the left.

......thanks, for coming out
