I took Joes Universal Flight Guide and made a poll with all the drivers, midranges, and putters to see what is most popular in this forum. So vote for your favorite discs now and lets see!

Do I vote for the discs that I think are the most popular or the ones that I like best and the poll will determine which is the most popular?

I voted for
Teebird - Firebird Buzzz - Wasp Omega - Aviar Big Bead.. They are basically the discs in my bag.. I carry a Crystal buzzz instead of wasp and I carry classic aviars instead of Omega drivers, but close enough ![]() Teebird is still my favorite driver and Aviar is still my favorite Disc! -Scott Lewis |

It's kind of sad that you categorized the Stingray as a driver. 10 years ago it was a driver. Today I'd call it Multi-Purpose or midrange. (It might have gotten my vote if it wasn't in the driver category.)
The times are a changing: an Orc is a driver; a Stingray isn't. Also it doesn't make sense to me to differentiate between Aviars, unless you are also going to differentiate between hard and soft Challengers, Wizards, Aviars, etc... |

why would you not want to differentiate AviarX?
Big Bead AViars and regular Smaller bead aviars ARe two different discs.. THey Both feel different in the hand and both have their own flight characteristics.. The BB is more overstable and the small bead is closer to a true stable flier... Hard and Soft Challengers might be different in feel and may have a different stability due to plastic, but they are still the same mold. the same would hold true for wizards unless they make them from different molds. I carry a classic aviar and a JK Aviar-x.. THe Classic Aviar is a turnover disc and the JK is my overstable driving putter. They are completey different discs in terms of their flight, their plastic, and their feel in the hand. -Scott Lewis |

We only have one wizard mold until the beadless wizard ( magic) is released?
We do consider the Blaze a mid-range, especially since most of our new discs will be drivers and much faster than the Blaze from here on out. |

Teebird & Wraith
--Basically I can make the teebird do anything I want it to lately. I'm surprised I can't walk the dog and get it to sleep yet... And the Wraith does the one thing I can't do with a Teebird - move faster than any other disc, cutting through the air fast enough that I can put a drive out between wind gusts. Roc --I don't really use the roc much... but it is the only midrange on the list that I DO actually use on occasion Rhyno & Aviar P&A --I wish I could have removed the vote for the Roc and added a vote for the Aero... I use the Rhyno as an overstable putter-driver/midrange, I use the Aviar P&A for putting and straight midrange shots, and I use the Aero for any shot that I need guarenteed and reliable ulty-like turnover. |

I think the poll would be better if it had big bead, small bead, hard, soft, as sub- categories of a disc like the Aviar. Same thing with Teebird and TL, old Beast new Beast, Starfire, SL, etc.
I carry a JK Pro Aviar-x and my friend carries a KC Pro Aviar. Same exact mold (Aviar BB) different plastic. I love the JK, and would never carry the KC. But they are both clearly Aviars. I guess I'll just keep adding the Aviar BB and Aviar P & A tallies to ascertain how popular Aviars are to the respondents to this poll... ![]() I'd like to see the mold variations and plastic variations as sub-categorical information under each disc. That way I could read the breakdown for Aviar and Challenger users. how many prefer soft? how many prefer hard? how many prefer the BB? SB? or how many prefer Crystal Challengers, X Challengers?, etc. |

Three words, dude:
Alpha Betical Order! What's up with making the first three entries Innova's most popular driver, Discraft's least popular driver and something made by ferrunners?

Alright for everyone that is wondering why things are not alphebetical or organized how they feel fit or don't have different versions of the discs they perfer. It is a pretty huge list and the easiest way to do it was by Joe's flight guide from www.gottagogottathrow.com. There were two discs I did add however that I realized missing, the Xtreme and the Firebird-L everything else is listed how it is on the chart. Can't make eveyone happy so Im not even gonna try. So just vote and enjoy!

If you would have put the Champion Leopard for mid-range I would have voted for it.
