Hi: 48°
Lo: 27°

THATS NOTHING COMPARED TO LAST WENSDAY AT MOHAWK, THIS WILL SEEM AS A MILD WINTER VACATION. UNDER A BALMY MOON, LIGHT WINDS AND SUB-FREEZING TEMPATURES. ONLY THING WE WILL MISS IS THE THREE STRAIGHT HOLES AROUND THE PONDS. (AKA PLASTIC DISPOSALS)

I think you need to force FurDog to come out and play, if he doesn't show then ban him from any future events and Boycott Chandler.

I donated to the OO by volunteering. Why don't you try it next year? .....Maybe you can get your woman to do something also?

So you have finally removed yourself as a disc golfer and become a professional volunteer?

What a freaking joke!

Your competitve spirit must come from all those band practices in high school. So now you'll sit back and talk a good game or just re-tell the story of your disc getting over the pond to all the newbies that come along for the next ten years, or tell them how many water jugs you carried at worlds, tell them how many tee pads you gaurded from the squirrels.

Just be sure when you tell them you're the course pro at Chandler that you don't actually throw a disc or they'll see you as the poser we know you are.

Don't worry buddy, as soon as spring gets here you can play Riverside and Chandler again and maybe get yourself a couple of birdies during a round. Hell, you might even break par.

MAYBE!

Okay lets answer your question, Volunteering right?

3 years as club treasurer,, this would mean at least 36 club meetings, 18 months of planning for the worlds, 4 months of continuous work on courses for 6 days a week, 3 years of bag tag challenges, two years of skins matches, shipping for all of the worlds merchandise, phone contact for the worlds and the last two years of the OO. And all of this while improving my game and continuosly playing at a competitve level.

Now for you, 1 year of chandlerstock, that Conners TD'd, maybe a half dozen minis at chandler that all ran late, volunteered at worlds and brought Marie along, cudos on that one. Not stepping up for admin elections two years in a row.
Because it's easier to biatch than to do.
Accepting the fact that it is easier to not play at all than to learn how to play at least at a Novice level.

Lets see? What else? Did I miss something?

And you ask me "why don't I try and volunteer next year?"

I think you need to ask yourself if there are other things you could do for the club other than hauling water or sitting in a chair and floating air biscuts all day.

Maybe you should post your resume on Monster.com for when you get older and forget that you need an ego boost everyday.

What no comments now about how great a volunteer you are?

You asked the question, I just responded.

FurDog:
Player rating 820
TD rating 815
Volunteer rating 895

Why don't you concentrate on getting any of those above 900.

I would have placed his volunteer rating higher but I had to discount it for all the biatching we have to listen to.

Sorry Dave. I guess I'm not worthy of a golden shovel. ....Next time I see Connors I'll give him mine. If he doesn't want it then I'll give it away at a mini. On top of that I'll try and get you a golden snow shovel for being the tough guy you are and going out and playing in the snow last Thursday.

I apoligize that I don't feel "inspired" by all you have done. ....Nor feel the need to be out everyday trying to improve my game. You're the King.

I'm sure everynight your wife and kids tell you what a great person you are and how they never feel neglected now that you're home all the time. And if they don't then I'm sure you can look in the mirror everyday and pat yourself on the back for all you've done and remind yourself how much better a person you are than Furdog.
