ratings updated to reflect the fact that adv and adv masters played different setup for round 2, seem to have lost int, adv ladies, and rec ratings despite having what i thought was sufficient propagators- perhaps chuck can enlighten on this?
i'm sure it will be fixed when the ratings go official either way. |

Seems to be some confusion about tourny' dates...
SHERANDO SPRING BREAKOUT MARCH 25th SUNDAY SHERANDO SPRING BREAKOUT MARCH 25th SUNDAY SHERANDO SPRING BREAKOUT MARCH 25th SUNDAY ...and we have already had some pre-registration for the SHAG... SHENANDOAH SHAG June 17th Sunday Again, I am hoping to not have to turn anyone away the day of the Sherando tournament...there are around 40 registered players...PLEASE, anyone interested in playing...can go to the PDGA site for "event information"...and also, at www.spotsydiscgolf.com there are flyers and all the information you may need. If anyone is having problems, you can call me at 7034014616 or email me at baileyx@adelphia.net Also, PDGA site should be updated with registered players. Thanks Brandon |

REMINDER....there is NO email or call list of saved spots for the Sherando tournament. I think it is only fair, in the year of the "PRE-REG", that those who send in registration are "IN" first.
I am trying to avoid the chance that someone drives from 3 hours away, stands in line, and I would have to tell them they are behind people who called, or emailed me. When the people who called, or emailed, may not even be there yet. Bottomline...1st "IN"...those who have sent registration...NEXT "IN" (if not filled) are the order people are in line the day of the tournament. Do not want to beat this into the ground, but also do not want any disappointed players tourny' time. Thanks Brandon Sherando March 25th Sunday (ODDS series) Sheandoah Shag June 17th Sunday |

DDC (for overall points) on Friday.
Carl's Open golf (not for points) on Friday. Mini golf (not for points) on Friday night (Bryan's Big Country Course). Golf (for points) prelims on Saturday; golf field gets cut in 1/2 for finals on Sun. MTA (for points) prelims on Sat; finals on Sun. Distance (for points) prelims (I'm sure) & semis (I think) on Sat; finals on Sun. Accuracy (for points) between 18 & 1 on your Sat. golf round. Freestyle (for points) prelims Sat night at players' party (Fred Field House), along with a ton of hardcore Guts (not for points); freestyle finals Sun. Best time you'll ever have at a disc event! |

most people do not make it out on friday...come saturday and sunday for golf AND distance/mta/accurracy....almost everyone tries these....they are fun.
most people don't participate in the freestyle either... you can do as little or as many events as you want.. it's all included in the entry fee... i have to check, but i think the entry fee is only $30 |

Brandon---
I mailed my money/registration for Sherando in today. Is it possible to change the format to match play instead of strokes?... .......that seems to be a good format for me.

I think it's $35 ($65 for Lost Weekend), but I may also be wrong.

yes, basic format for field events...
mta--you get 5 throws...they take your best time. distance--you get 5 throws..they take your best distance for 1 throw. accurracy---7 stations, 4 throws each...they take the total number you make out of the 28 total shots. for each event, if you do well enough you make it into the semis where the slate is wiped clean and you compete again against everyone who made it. the semis cut is the top 30 (15 from each pool)..the finals cut is the top 5 of those top 30. |

are you asking if the pratt course is closed off on saturday because of the tournament?
well, technically no but there will be a group on every hole just like in any normal disc golf tournament.. if you are going to be at pratt that day why not just play in the tournament? or maybe i'm just not understanding the question... |

oh...my thoughts are always about va states this time of year...sorry...i rarely look at the heading..
there is no tournament saturday at sherando as far as i know...practice all you like. and just to be confusing, the heading of this is called "seneca" but i'm talking about sherando and referring to my previous email about pratt. |
