The pro field for the 2007 Virginia Open is full.

The Pre-Reg list as posted on the PDGA site for the 2007 Virginia Open was updated at approximately noon today.

The best way to get a spot on the pro waiting list is to go to the on-line registration site and purchase a free waiting list spot.

As of 2:30 Jan 22, 2007 the pro waiting list is:

1.Chris Hysell
2.Eddie Ogburn
3.Kirk Yoo
4.Jeff Yahn

Va Open Staff~

Can you tell me how many spots each division is awared? I notice that Open already has 40, and that has been defined as full.

Is this the same for Master,Adv,Am, etc...?

Just wondering how it works.

the field is limited to 72 pro and 72 am. the pro side already has 72 signed up(masters, woman, GM included)

So since you have to be PDGA current to play in this event, do you not have to be PDGA current to register?

Just current before the 2 minute horn sounds??

I got onto the waiting list and then signed up as an advanced master. I'm currently double dipping. I'm in no matter what unless they correct my players rating and then I might be caddying.

that's good 'cause he wasn't eligible for adv masters either way.

btw- i predict your rating drops a couple more points rather than comes up. you are going to lose those hot rounds from pohick '05.

I should never have my name on a waiting list. From now on I expect td's to register me first if it is an ODDS event. I have never missed one and have no intention to do so.
