Default US Masters 2005

I personally wanted to thank those who ran the 2005 US Masters Tournament in La Mirada this past weekend. I hope that in the future more people might show up for this National Tour event. I can say that the level of golf played over the weekend was top level ie: Snapper beating Mark Horn by one stroke on the final hole, the play off between Wisecup and Raley (truely a game of inches) Chieko Kakimoto comong in from Japan to win the womens division. Personally I was challenged by a great guy and always pro (don't let the long hair fool ya) Rhett. It took everything I had just to push through that so hats off to ya Rhett. Hope to see many others there next year. Mike and Doug thanks again for making it fun.

You played great golf, Kent. I was thinking that hole 15 on Sunday was the key, but that's too obvious. It was hole 12 that was the key. I had more than my fair share of good breaks, but you cashed in on that fortuitous non-OB roller by nailing that HUMONGOUS putt.

Nice playing. My 67 wasn't all that bad, but your 62 was just too smokin' hot to contend with. Congrats, Champ.

I gotta figure out how to play those last 3 holes better. That makes two years and four rounds in a row that I couldn't bring a really good score all the way home.

Yeah I am sure that Rhett wanted to share the burden with someone , chuckles, but I know he is already getting ready to hand me my ***** for the So Cal's. His Steady play almost (did) become annoying laughs , one day I am gonna grow up to be like that . It was fun to be driven to that level.

Yeah, I really didn't want to be the only one to ever hold the National Title in Advanced Masters. Thanks for helping me out, Kent. No, really.

Chuckles It's lonely at the top, I am sure you'll be prepared for So Cal's upcoming shindig with a gun and bullets. BTW I hope you can make it to the trails on Sunday since the women are back east.
