I am pleased to announce the "Twisted Acres" Disc Golf Course is in the ground. Located off of I-44 and SW 149th, Twisted Acres hosts a 9 hole Ball Golf course, a full service bar / burger bar, a ball golf driving range , a Disc Golf putting area and will soon offer a lighted Disc Golf Driving Range. It hosts an 18 hole Disc Golf course as well.
This facility has stadium type lighting which makes night play / practice an option for those on the go. The hours are weekdays from 10am until Midnight weekends from 8am until 2 am. IT IS BEST TO CALL AHEAD AND MAKE SURE THE LIGHTS ARE STILL ON you can call 405-691-5970 and they will help you out.The cost is 8.00 per 18 during the day and 12.00 per 18 at night. The Distances will breakdown as follows... 7 holes are 325-395 feet, 7 holes will be 400-500 feet and 4 holes will be 600-700 feet. The second round tee areas are not done but will be soon. ALL GREENS and SAND TRAPS are played as OB, there is WATER on 10 holes as well. All baskets are INNOVA DISCATCHER PRO type (a big hearty THANKS!To INNOVA for their support on this project). There are plans in the works for a winter league as well as a weekly or Bi weekly mini. The course will also be used for the Twisted Flyer Open on October 1st and 2nd. I will try to link some photos soon.

Just wanted to let everybody know how lucky you guys are to have this course, Joe Rotan, and his great ideas in your town!
We had the privelage to be some of the first dgrs to check out this course and had a blast!! The course and holes are set up so sweet! Having access to golf carts, a bar and grill was so nice. Thanks again Joe and keep it up! If you ever want to move down to Texas we would love to have you.

I wish we had a Twisted Acres here in TX. I know I would be there as much as I could. You can get in the practice at night that you have been dodging in the day because of the heat.
By the way...did anyone find a Valkerie in a cart or on the course? Baby K lost it.

Yeah Baby, that course is sweeeet!
It's worth the cash for the carts,. You can play forever and not get tired ( unless you play with JoRo, it can get pretty tiring watching him chase his discs around all night). ![]() j/k Good times out there and the bar staff is cool, can't wait to get up there again! You guys are lucky, get out there and play it,it's awesome. Thanks for the invite ![]()

With a little help from my FRIENDS! Thats how we roll! BIG PROPs to Billy & Chris and the dude who rented us the auger! Not to mention a crew like Omegaputt, Jeremy, Shaun/Heather, Nelle, Baby/ GeckoBoy, CaptKlank sure did make this task a pleasure. It's always nice to have a few carts as well
Creating new golf spots is a bonus feeling for sure! ![]() No sign of stray discs yet... "Drag the water some more"

I run a ball/disc tournament from time to time here in Tulsa...we don't have any permanent disc golf on ball golf courses though.
Twisted acres would be perfect for a disc/ball tournament. You never know, Joe might have plans to run one. |

You already know brotha man, I'd be happy to help you out with a ball/disc golf tourney at Twisted Acres...the funnest one we have had was a doubles tournament; first round we played the front 9 at The Bunker in Sand Springs from the red tees and then a mix of white and blue tees for the back nine. Then we went to Page Belcher ball golf course about 10 minutes down the road....IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
