Well Stoops is headed to Notre Dame and hopefully Gundy will find a junior assistant job at some D3 school..
I agree, if we were going to beat them, this looked like a good chance. OSU seemed totally flat and uninspired. It was like they heard some really bad news just as they were leaving the locker room. Oh well, I never base my happiness on O States success, I would probably would have killed myself by now if that were the case.. But hey, another National Championship for the Cowboys, Cross Country champs, lets see you beat that Sooners

thats what happens when you have 9 days to prepare for a defeat. Players knew they didn't belong on same field. Why would Stoops go to ND and have to come back to Norman in a year and play against OU ??? Stoops is going knowhere. like the Cowboys whole program ! We will get another National title in gymnastics at least if not another sport. Quit talking out of your *** treat !

Beaten like a drum by the mighty BYU, Miami, Nebraska and oh yeah, Texas Tech. I remember when OSU didn't care if they won a single game except OU. Now the tables have turned, your only claim to fame is beating a ranked OSU team. Forget the fact that you're 7 and 5, headed to maybe the Sun Bowl. Nice job, great season. I hope the incredible level of football OU played this year will continue forever. Again, good luck recruiting against Texas this year, what a joke...

At least our ONLY road win wasn't against Kansas. Now that is the sign of a super program.
Stoops is virtually undefeated, headed for a BCS bowl and, oh wait, they lost EVERY road game except Kansas, they are 7 and 5 and headed to the toilet bowl.. Very nice....

Dave, I am glad to see you taking on Hinds cause because he surely needs the help.
I always wait for the poor OU fan to fall into this trap. I love to see your canned questions about when was the last time we won a national chanpionship in football, how many big 12 championships do we have blah blah blah. Because it is at this time the crushing blow is delivered: OSU national championships - 49!! OU national championships - 25 So, as soon as the Sooner losers win another 24 national championships, come see me. Until then, pipe down and get ready for another mediocre football record in 2010.

so what are you going to do without 22 seniors next year, OU will be back and everybody knows this. The only reason we care about this game is so we don't have to listen to the crap spew from OSU fans mouths. Now they can just bite their lip. People are still coming after Bob, half your fans want Gumby gone !!!
Admit we are big brother and move on. I am going to enjoy watching your team trip all over themselves with no exp. next year. Oh and btw Texas Tech is the ONLY team that kicked are tail. Lets see you man up and go down and play Miami. ORANGE COWARDS...... |

Come on Hinds, Orange Cowards, is that the best you have??
Again, as soon as you win more national championships than OSU you can talk, until then you should stop embarrasing yourself and start working on tickets for the Toilet Bowl. OU will always be the step child to OSU, national championships speak for themselves, OU fans seem to struggle with that..

Win just 1 BCS game and I will shut my mouth. But until you get there............my jaws are going to keep jackin'. It's all about what have you done for me lately. Lately we kicked your *** In all sports last year, go look where the Bedlam Bell landed. It is based on overal school record per school year.
I can't embarass myself when everyone knows Im right. BOOMER X 11 you only need 4 more Heismans to catch up, oh yeah and 7 football NT's I care about basketball and football nothing else, although didn't we sweep you in wrestling last year ???? Last edited by Hindsight; Nov 30 2009 at 05:53 PM. |

Come on Hinds, call Wise and come up with your next response, I am waiting...
Remember, national championships define a schools success from an athletics perspective. I want you to read the above sentence until you understand it. Given the fact that it's you, I am going to give you as much time as you need. Don't forget, one more and we will have twice, that means double Hinds, the national championships than OU.. Come on big boy, lets hear it..

to quote espn about the game...
It was over when... The Cowboys showed up in Norman. Under Bob Stoops, the Sooners don't lose there often. Do the cowboys have the ability to claim that? |

I have to agree with ESPN. Gundy has never beaten Stoops and I doubt he ever will.
That can also be said for most of our players. Les Miles beat Stoops twice in a row, including at Norman. Since then it has been all down hill. If you read one of my first post, I mentioned Gundy getting job at a D3 school somewhere. I also think that after the loss to Tech, the ou coaches "challenged" the ou players, which to me says if you think practice sucked this week, just get beat by OSU and see what happens. Whatever they did worked.

That's right.
Just drop it because OK had nothing going in football this year so now if I want to be true to the Big 12 I'm forced to become a Texas fan during the BCS bowls. ![]() If I were to base a school's greatness based on the high character of those that support it I would vote OSU because of people like Treat, Slack, Hicks, & Mendoza. Unfortunately character has nothing to do with a tradition of winning so when it comes to state football I'm forced to back OU and throw my lot in with people of low character like Wise and Hinds.

Okay, Okay........
Lets see now, OSU does have 32 NT's of its total 48 for wrestling against OU's 6, you can have bragging rights on that. Not a fun sport, designed for those that can't make the FB team, and guys that like squeezing other guys, you can have that one. ![]() Gymnastics, we have this one with 8 to your 0, I almost wish that were the other way around. This was created as a sport so that you and your woman can have bonding time in front of the TV on a Saturday afternoon. This one is equal to figure skating. ![]() Cross County, you win at 2-0. What ever, this is a hobby, not a sport. So your guys can run further than the next guy before crapping his shorts? Does anyone even watch these? Equestrian - OSU 1-0 Again another hobby, my horse is better than your horse, I can rope that calf better than you. Plain and simple, equestrian is a sport for the rich little girls, so they can take their horse with them to school. Now for the top 4 sports, lucky for you I include golf, but we'll have to rank it 4th in the list for the fact you can drink alchohol and be totaly unfit and still be a success. How can that be considered athleticism? 1. Football, pure domination on this one with a record of 7-0 against OSU! 2. Basketball, that one is all yours at 2 against 0, but you haven't had one in over 63 years. 3. Baseball, we're on top in this one 2-1. I'm not a baseball fan, so I don't care. 4. Golf, you win this one 10-1 but like I said above, if a fat drunk can play it, can it be a sport? I think you win this for the just on the amount of alchohol that is comsumed in Stillwater. With 4 years of practice under their belt, these guys are ready for Pro Golf. Ou wins in the top 3 REAL SPORTS 9-3 but If I give you the golf, you come out ahead 13-10. I will cheer on OSU at every chance I get, until they are against OU. I'm a fan of all Okalhoma colleges. Its just for Bedlam football, I'm pretty one sided. I will have to agree with FurDog however about the quality of peole from OSU. Most are great people to be around. |

Based on my overall week position, at least concerning football, I am more than willing to let this die for another year...
I am glad to see Wise doing his research, I knew he would!!!!

Dam, the "Nite Flight" standards have just sunk to a new low now that this course has been added to the mix. ![]() I never thought "The Wayne'ster" would allow himself to be "Beaver Whipped". ![]() If Wise's henchmen are willing to steal discs in broad daylight then there is no telling how many they will lift under the cover of darkness.

Well that just goes to show you Dan that the juvenile crooks in Berryhill are intellegent enough to only set their sights on big $500+ scores that knuckleheads are willing to leave unattended where as the rookie crooks with the "Born to Lose" tattos in Owasso will risk everything on what basically amounts to a KFC chicken dinner for a family of four.
