I keep a pistol also, ever since I found a guy in my dining room years back. The only thing I have ever shot with it is a possum in the garage.
Memo to those interested: Don't shoot a possum in your garage, unless you don't mind dragging in the garden hose for clean up.

No, I caught him but not the way you are trying to insinuate.
We both went through the door and into the garage. The police got there real quick, caught him after he ran into another house and hid under the kids bed. . They found a pistol and a knife by one of the fences he jumped. AND A JURY FOUND HIM INNOCENT. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Maybe the reason they found him innocent is because you look Furman and they figured you planted the evidence. Probably the reason you never put lights on your discs for night golf is so you can drop your disc close to the basket when nobody is looking.

We spend more time than that just letting you take all of your shots on each hole.
![]() And were they right where I said they were? Yes! ![]() You had lights over most of your body, the only thing missng were testical lights. I just figured you didn't put one there because the glow stick was too big to attatch it to them.

Face it. Donkey Dan is a better Pro rep than you are. Two holes into the thing and you're already starting to pout. A point brought up not by me but by Taylor Sears as we were walking down # 2's fairway. It was nice that Marie got to hear it from someone else besides me for a change.
...Then the meltdown on # 13 was classic. You guys blew your last 2 mullies a piece on a 25 foot putt. You guys were 0 & 6 on the birdie shot on that one. ![]() I give Dan some big credit because even if it had gone the other way, he is still easier to get along with when he's playing bad. You're about as close to a Son of a Billy Swanson that I have ever seen. I also want to give some credit the our Moose cheer leading section. Maybe next time you guys will bring your wifes to cheer for you?

On second thought...I left my boat at the lake and I pretty sure my waders aren't going to help with this rain

Personally I don't know what the hell you're talking about.
I'm also surprised I had any mulligans left on 13. I'm ususally out by hole 2 or 3. As for Taylor Sears and his opinions, I'm all torn up over it. As pouting goes, you need to go look in the mirror. ![]() I pray to GOD that Marie doesn't leave town for a long time to come, I don't know if we could handle that again for a while. I already told her the next time she does that, she has to let me know, so I can schedule something for myself out of town.

I got thirteen in at Copperhead before the rain and hail started......alright there was no hail......but it did make it sound cooler....
I was -2 after thirteen......so I guess I left right on time to miss the Blowup that was probably ensuing.... I had to leave once it really started raining because....low and behold....I forgot my towel! The course is rough rough rough right now...I wouldn't attempt it with any small children..... |

We played Mohawk after the afternoon storm yesterday and there is significant damage across the entire park.
Several downed trees and limbs every where. On Black hawk, Holes 3, 5, 15, 18 and hole1 are unplayable due to downed trees or dangerous hanging limbs. I talked with Zooc last night and he is out there this morning. The second storm that came through last night caused additional damage in the park. Mohawk Park will be CLOSED until further notice. They should get it cleaned up fairly quick. We need volunteers for Saturday morning to go through Black Hawk and clean up the smaller downed limbs across the fairways and the trash while we are in there. We primarilay need bodies out there with gloves. Maybe a couple of rakes so that the smaller stuff can be piled up then thrown off in the woods. As an example, hole 3 on Black is completely blocked at the white tee pad. You can not even get down the fairway with out cutting through the woods. |

You'd have to see what I'm talking about. You can not see past 90ft down the fairway, period. Totaly blocked.

Just talked to Zooc again. The Redhawk area has at least a dozen trees down, Black hawk has at least 6 down and the golf course area has around 2 dozen down.
![]() They will be extremely busy for a few days but he said we could get in by Saturday morning. So lets get it done!

Well volunteering on Saturday morning is going to put some serious restrictions on my Oktoberfesting on Friday night.
![]() You're going to have to call me and wake me up. I don't know if there is much I can do other than ride your butt to make sure it gets done. I'm only worried about my path to the basket and since I normally go thru the woods anyway I don't see how any of this new blockage is really affects me.
