For any of the Tulsa golfers that did not get to make the trip this weekend, well, your loss. This place is a disc golf course delivered from the Gods. It is one of the most beautifull and scenic places you will see, the bonus is the disc golf course. Where else can you sit on your front porch and see golfers almost a half mile away across the canyon. Watching the sun come up in the morning and the moon at night. Not hearing anything, except Naegele in the next cabin 75 yards away. I was almost sad Sunday morning, because I knew we had to leave soon, but we did get in one more good round on the big course and I'm sure those that wanted to play the short course are now happy they didn't. Next year when this happens again, be ready to get your sheit together and make this trip.

On another note. NEVER let Mike Conners be your navigator. Going down to the Canyon on Friday night they were two and a half hours late. Mike gave directions. They got to within 15 minutes of the Canyon and turned around and went the other way. DOH!

When we left on Sunday, I was still loading stuff up and waived goodbye to them. We took our time going back and stopped in Siloam Springs to eat. Guess who pulls in after we do? Thats right Conners. They got lost on the way back too. DOH! DOH!

I enjoyed meeting & spending the weekend with you all. Those that fell down the hill on friday night going back to thier cabins should try to get something closer to the club house next time . Had a blast guys. Thanks again.

Default Where are we playing, 2 or 3 months from now

Just had a lunch meeting with Pat Standingbear, head of Chandler Park. This comes after meeting with the head of Tulsa County parks last week. It looks like the new 18 hole course at Chandler is a GO! WHOOOOO HOOOOO! If we get the bid for the 2006 AM Worlds things will start happening quicker and quicker, but I would say we will be able to play 6 to 9 extra holes at Chandler by the TORNADO OPEN.

THIS COURSE WILL BE TULSA’S FINEST!

Every Thursday night at 6:00 is Glow Random Doubles league at Waterworks Park in KC. Only a 4 hour drive from lovely Tulsa here, so get a posse together and be at Waterworks around 5:30. There are usually LED lights for sale for $1.50. The weather looks pretty good for tommorrow night.... the ACE fund is around $900 (pays out half)
peace

Half the ace pot?

That sounds like a KC payout!
You better come to Oklahoma, we will pay all of our mini ace pots.

Hey Kev, went and played Copperhead today, the rock has been moved up on hole #17 its about 25-30 ft. short of the basket by a mulch pile....The Conners, Sal, Schwagert, and my brother Zach were witnesses to the drive.......but I still missed the **** putt!!!!

it was an impressive drive. sent it through the middle out over the trees to the right where we could not see it for a few seconds then shot across down by the basket. it landed right behind that big stash of old bark close to the basket which is now where you will find the rock with another one that billy wrote his name on for added flavor. i for one threw in the trees on the right back to the fairway, up the middle and hit a tree, hit another tree, bad shot, threw long, missed putt, in the basket for a bad score. I was even through 8 holes and ended up 11 over. OUCH! it was good to play the course even though it ended rough.
