yahooo, i do believe thats the farthest skip shot ive ever had on hole 17. i had a dropin bird . there were a bunch of ice sleders out there, while i was there a food delivery van sideswiped a city plowtruck on memorial knobody hurt . however the emergency vehicles were called to the eastern most parking area for injured sleders. i had a wonderful time picking discs out of the water,3, to be exact. i stayed safly out of the water because i was wearing my "stabilicers" not at all slipping through the entire round .great time.

Dan Bougher and I went to McClure yesterday afternoon.
Holy Crap, Batman!

That was the slickest stuff I have ever been on. It took us an hour and a half to get through 9 holes.
I had to crawl on my hands and knees from half way down the fairway just to get up the hill, on hole 2. On hole 6, I slid my putter towards the basket, Bougher was coming up the side walk by 5's fairway, I yelled at him to stop my putter, he swung his leg at it as it went by him, lost his balance, slid down the hill, over the man hole cover and just missed the drainage railing, my disc stopped at the ball park fence. He cussed me for five minutes for that one.
On hole 5, I got a straight up seven, after putting for three from the bottom of the hill. Dan stopped putting after his ninth attempt, it just kept sliding back at him. I think he took a 12.
I shot a 44 for nine holes and was way ahead of him.

We should have brough ice skates.

Those would be great, if they weren't sold out every where in town.

With out those, it was like this.

You need to be careful out there. You are probably going to fall and break a hip.

The last time we played, you looked like a Pro at doing the crawl.

Yesterday, made last Saturday seem like you were walking on sand paper.

I don't mean to sound like an old wet hen, but you guys really shouldn't be trying to play in this.

I would hate to see you get hurt and miss the real "warm" disc golf season coming up...

... but for pure amazement ; you'll never see anything else like the results of golf-discs on this stuff ... it's a challenge ... it's amusing ... now that's entertainment ! ... in my book , it's far-better than sittin' at home watchin' the tube ... what memories do ya gain from that ? ...
.
.
... it's like the old "grab-the-gusto" commercial ... you only go around once in life ... might as well slide along some fer sport ...

The only thing that would may it better I imagine would be if everyone jumped into the creek afterwards to celebrate.

You could start your own Polar Bear club.

... awright fellers ... some hot-off-the-presses News ...
.
... (this is a copy from Ice Bowl TD Mark Vasicek)
.
" Due to the impending snow storm, I have decided to postpone the
Arcadia Ice Bowl until next weekend, Sunday Jan. 28. I understand
that the Ice Bowl is supposed to be played no matter the conditions,
however, the remote location and the long distances people must
travel to get there has led me to make this decision. I am unwilling
to assume responsibility for the safety of those who would choose to
play. Thank you.
Mark Vasicek
"
.
.
... that means that next weekend will be an ALL-OKLAHOMA-ICE-BOWL kinda thing ... 27th = in Tulsa ... 28th = in Arcadia ... ... two cool ...

Any one up for some golf this afternoon?

Mohawk may be open.

At least there are no hills to slide down.
