2004 Japan Open

Is there any information available for this tournament?

Do you have to qualify to participate, or just send in your entry?

I visited the sight and found some interesting info. What I couldn't find is what airport do I fly into? I also have heard stories of having to travel a great distance to get to the course. Does anyone have the knowledge that I am seeking? Also, the tournament starts on Thursday the 9th, any suggestions on how many days it will take to get to the course?

You'd either fly into Narita, Tokyo, or Osaka. In either case you can probably get to the tournament hotel (which is on the course) within 4 or 5 hours, same day by Bullit Train or Tour Bus.

If you sign up for the event, Sam Ferrans will send you a package of info fully detailing just about everything and will probably even offer to take care of the arrangements for you. I don't think I've ever seen him post here, but if you email him, he works at the RC INNOVA office, I'm sure he'll be glad to answer your questions.
