Default Friday the 26th of August

I am going to get to play tomorrow afternoon - just seeing if anyone else is going to be out and about playing golf. I am thinking about checking out the new course in Sapulpa.

Anyone - Let me know if you are playing Friday after lunch.

Default Re: Interesting Legal Case

Stillwater, Oklahoma
August 26, 2005
A seven-year-old boy was at the center of a courtroom drama today when
he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.
The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge
initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law
and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree
possible.
The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him
more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her.
When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the
boy cried out that they also beat him.
After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning
that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the
judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who
should have custody of him.
After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child
welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Oklahoma
State Cowboys, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating
anyone.

I heard that our Southern visitor, Courtney hit an Ace last night in the Doubles on #13.
Congrats!

So how much was her percentage of the ace pot?

Default Re: Muskogee has the course!

Thanks Rick Niel for the Mini in Muskogee. They have what I would consider the best course around these parts. It is a beautifull course with lots of elevation and it will test your long game.

I had what I think is the first Ace on the course. I hit #2 309ft with a left hyzer. But the biggest shot of the day came form non other than Billy Lund. Billy threw #5, a 515 hole with the basket hidden by a huge tree. His shot leveled out went under the tree, skipped and hit the chains only to fall ou on the ground. If you had see the shot, you would know how amazing it was. He also parked a 585ft hole for a two.

If you can get the time for s short 45 minute drive, do yourself a favor and play this course.
