Default PDGA Trailer Stops...all but Masters Cup?

Was just reading the PDGA trailer schedule at http://www.pdga.com/on-the-road-again and it says "...in addition to the National Tour stops, the PDGA trailer will also make an appearance at several other tournaments..."

Why was the Masters Cup left off this list. The trailer is going to every single NT, but not Santa Cruz?

It was on the original schedule when the story was first posted, but I'm sure there were complaints about taking it back and forth from the east coast to Cali and back in 2 weeks time - and having to make it from Santa Cruz to Augusta in 4 days just doesn't make sense - especially cost wise for fuel and lodging - it is actually a SMART money saving move and saves alot of whining about "wasting" membership dollars - like we hear about anything else PDGA related from all the message board fans....

...OK, I can see that, and probably a good cost-saving move. I know many were hopeful that it would come this year, just disappointment, sucks to be on the opposite coast sometimes.

I'm sure it is already probably bad enough cost wise going from KS to Oregon to KS in a 3 week stretch.

I'm looking forward to playing on the NorCal courses again one day...I want revenge on Pinto and the stinking college mashup course cost me being in top 10 at Worlds...

True, but if that's a huge worry, then what's the point of getting a trailer and truck in the first place? You take it anywhere around the US, and it's going to cost $$$$$. PDGA might be better off keeping this kind of stuff in the middle of the country, so it can be used more often, for less cost. Georgia is about as far away from everything else as you can get. Or maybe not bother doing it at all, if it is going to bankrupt the entire operation by using it.

Yes, come back again, soon! We have a new website for Pinto Lake: http://pintolakediscgolf.com

John, as you well know, it has more to do with the fact that there is absolutely nowhere to put the components of the trailer, not to mention the trailer itself at De Laveaga Disc Golf Course.

If all goes according to plan next year, and the De Laveaga Disc Golf Club is able to secure the adjacent ball golf course as an additional venue, there will be plenty of room for the trailer and all it has to offer fans, spectators and curiosity seekers.

Excellent, I'm glad to put out the vibes to let everyone know that we would very much like a bigger PDGA presence at our NT...in fact, maybe could even come out a week earlier for Daisy Chains so that the trip isn't just for a single tournament!
