Prepare Your Disc Golf Elevator Pitch Now

Recently a friend was participating in a tournament and was asked a question by the local media. The response was a blabbering mish mash of words! He did ok, but because he was not prepared in advance he could not deliver the "PR goods" on disc golf. His answer should have been as brief and informative as possible - which is perfect for print or a soundbite.
Skip Hyzer writes about this on my blog and suggests that we always have an elevator pitch at the ready.

I think its good to keep this in mind. The media has shown up at some of our events out of nowhere lately asking questions for articles on dg. They have a lot of misconceptions that have to be addressed and if you are caught off guard you don't always have the best answer.

This is precisley why the TD needs to say at HQ during the tournament.

Or you could have someone at HQ who is not a bonehead and actually knows about Disc Golf since she was born... like I do when I play in my Events
