2013 Harrah Open - Saturday February 23rd 2013 (The last Saturday in February)

This year’s event is the 4th annual and will again be held at Harrah Heritage Park in Harrah, OK.

Tee Sign Sponsorship

For a $100 donation you will receive an 8 ½ X 11in color laminated sign located at the tee box for an available hole. The sign will contain the hole number, a graphic, and any other information you wish to be displayed about you or your business. You will also be included in the flyer and receive a mention at the tournament.

Donations can be made to the “Harrah Friends of the Park” with in care of “The Harrah Open” in the comments section – The Friends of the Park is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote recreation within the community of Harrah.

I’m also accepting give away items – pens, mugs, business cards, etc. Disc golfers love this type of stuff and it is a great way to promote your business.

Flyers will be posted at local businesses and all metro area disc golf courses to be seen by countless numbers of disc golfers who make an extra effort to support those who promote their sport.

Again this year - I’m giving away a free entry to the 2013 Harrah Open at the Norman Snowball on February 9th @ NE Lions Park in Norman, Mitch Mac is also raffling off a $350 Innova Pro Basket – Make sure to check out the new stamp for 2013!

The 2013 Harrah Open will be held at Harrah Heritage Park. The course is temporary and will be set up for play only on the morning of February 23rd.

The tournament will feature a new layout for 2013. Parking will be available in the main lot. The city is closing the outside lane of Harrah Road next to the park for overflow parking.

Don’t forget to bring your donation worthy discs for the raffles. Another year…more cool stuff.

Donated discs go to the Harrah Public Schools and the Lions Club Boys Ranch.

Can you believe the event is only weeks from Saturday?

The new layout has been finalized and will be marked the week of the event. The Mini's are ordered and the T-Shirts are being printed. Both are limited and will go fast.

Support the Lions Club! They are the reason we have disc golf in the City of Harrah and have been providing T-Shirts and tasty food since the beginning.

I also received word that Church Ave Spirits will be offering a 10% discount for all those that shop and mention the 2013 Harrah Open on the day of the tournament. The store is located at 1951 Church Ave in downtown Harrah just north of the park on Harrah Road (Church Ave) and Main Street.

So enjoy a Lions Club onion burger and if you’re over 21 make sure to stop by Church Ave Spirits and pick up a discounted beverage or two.

The course is marked… the baskets will be in place on Saturday morning. There is a new layout and the pond is hungry for some new discs Hopefully the temperature and wind will cooperate.

Sign Up will start around 7:15-30 --- Early sign up means more free stuff for you.

Remember to bring your new and used discs for donation to the Lions Club and Harrah Public Schools. The more discs you bring the more raffle chances you will have.

We will start promptly at 9:30am.

PRETTY, PRETTY, PLEASE come hungry – support the Lions and eat at the concession. I will give everyone plenty of time for lunch. The Harrah Lions Club supports disc golf and we all need to do our part by showing how much we appreciate them. Buy a hamburger, give someone a hug, and ask how you can be involved.
