This one was short and sweet. Not a lot in attendence due to the USDGC in Rock Hill, but it was still a rockin' time!

We had 4 Pros throwing 2 tight rounds and 8 Ams with a 3 way tie for 6th.
Paying out 2 spots in Pro and 4 voucher spots in Am.

November Monthly Points Tournament

I guess the "cold" scared some people away. I think it almost reached the frigid temperature of 70. Gorgeous day.

We had 7 Pros and 6 Ams, both with a tie for first. I think this is the first time in a while that we have had more Pros than Ams. Way to go! For the rest of you Ams...MOVE UP!

We're really racking up the CTPs and donations for Juvenille Diabetes. Thank you all so much for donating.

Tier 1 Juvenille Diabetes CTP Hole 5 was won by Joe Crisco. He opted to give his CTP to the club.
Tier 2 Juvenille Diabetes CTP Hole 16 was won by Allan. He picked out a discraft disc of choice donated by the club.
Tier 3 Juvenille Diabetes CTP Hole 9 was won by DG. He also opted to give his CTP back to the club.

Thanks to Henry Trier, Allan, Joe Crisco, and DG and the club for donations towards the Juvenille Diabetes fundraisers.
We have raised a total of $45 already! That's pretty sweet!

We may have a special guest next month from one of our friends to personally thank everyone. I've also just been told that they're on the verge of testing a new insulin shot that only has to be administered weekly instead of, potentially, several times a day. These donations are really helpful in lots of different ways.


The Ace Pool is now up to $105.


December 10th is the next monthly. The points race is getting really tight. One more monthly to go before we know who will be in the annual Skins Tournament!

Ok, this is it! The last monthly of the year is this Saturday. This monthly will determine who qualifies for the end of the year Skins Tournament. If you've never been to one of these skins tournaments, it is an absolute blast. And tt looks like the Bozinator will be on hand to film again. Check our website to see the current standings. It's such a close race. Let's end this year with a bang~!

It looks like the temperature will start around 50 and will slowly make it's way to the low 60s.

Great turn out for the last monthly of the year. It's usually rare for the Pro division to have more than the Am division and we've done it two months in a row. Great turnout for the first monthly of 2012. 33 golfers!
Once again, we had more pros than ams.
Way to move up!

We received several donations for Juvenille Diabetes and donated $27 this weekend. Such a great response!
Thank you Clay and Henry for the rockin' donations for the next monthly. And great to see so many new people out. Especially those joining the club or renewing membership. Details to come on new bag tags and a bag tag challenge.

Welcome back, Rory. And nice win on the way back in. In the Am division, there was a tie for first place. Justin and Alan played sudden death to hole 2 where Justin sunk the birdie putt for the win. Also, welcome back to the Rec division. We had two friends from Charlotte play and Clark took with first spot overcoming a 4 stroke defecit after round 1.

We had a total of 29 golfers!

We were finally able to get a couple of ladies out this weekend. Not enough for their own division, but we have to start somewhere.

First, I would like to thank everyone that donated to the Juvenille Diabetes CTP fundraiser. We raised $26 through the registration. I would also like to recognize Nick, James, and Brandon for giving extra, making the total $33!

The NHDGC Juvenile Diabetes donations already have a total of $60 for 2012.

Another beautiful Saturday at the Castle. We had quite a turnout. The most baggers...I mean Recs.. that I've personally ever seen. Keep 'em coming!
We also had a ton of divisional CTPs. Thanks for donating to Alan x 3 discs and DG with a very cool disc signed by some of the best in the game, Brian Schwebberger and Terry Gallops!

January NHDGC Monthly Points Tournament

Ok. Here we go!

Outstanding weather and outstanding turnout. If you're going to break one record, you may as well try to break them all. Occassionally, we'll see 30 or so people in the monthly tournaments. We blew that away in January with a whopping 51 players! There are PDGA sanctioned tournaments that don't get that many.

We also paid out the biggest Ace pool I have ever seen. And did I mention women yet?? We had our first womens division and look forward to many, many more. Let's break it down:
